Thank You for this video! It took a little time to figure out how to make that dialogue box appear for me, including; reading the Adobe IA user guidelines (interesting), enabling, and then clicking the "generative expand" fill option when cropping for the first task.
Great fun, thanks. We're trying to set up an Iris photo business. I am an old film school bloke, and tbh, although I'm getting decent shots, PS is keeping me awake! Is it possible that AI could give me a short cut to shots like Adaptalux or Tony and Chelsea Northrup?
Loved you video, hoever when I followed your directions to the T for the "Painting" generation of my photo, I got totally unrelated randomized "watercolor" versions. Absolutely no connections to the original!
When I enlarge the crop area, there is no transparent areas on both sides as yours has. Why are they not? Is there something you did that I'm missing? Thank you
I'm doing step by step like in your video and got copletly different effects. When you used for ex. Oil painting promt. AI convert your photo for oil paint but in my case AI just put some random oil paint.
While Photoshop's Generative Fill AI is incredibly versatile, it currently doesn't support supplying specific images for the fill. However, you can achieve remarkable results by experimenting with different images and adjusting the settings to match your desired outcome. Feel free to explore the tool further
Even if a generative fill looked a little off, it's still a million times better than doing it by hand... because no human really can without many hours of work. Or would it even be possible to recreate that landscape unless you are in a small club of amazing artists?
I use this stuff on most days and do enjoy it. However saying you can make eyes green or change the color of anything is misleading. Ai is creating something, not changing it. Like the eyes, hue sat could fix in 3 seconds for green eyes but this takes longer to make trash
Glad I’m not the only one that was annoyed by this 🤦♂️ I think 80% of the entire video was just him saying *“I’m/we’re/it’s gonna go ahead”* and *“as you can see”*
Thank you so much for all your hints, tips and ideas. So far the best on RUclips. Others give a 2 minute one tip.
Really liked #9 - Painting
In the painting example, why did you use Quick Selection with the paint bucket? We’re you selecting 50% opacity?
Great demonstration: particularly the section on skin smoothing: thank you for posting!
Awesome! thank you for sharing but i'm using stylar now, any tutorials regarding?

How did you?
Awesome video as always! Could you do a comparison with Stylar's AI features next time? I've been really impressed by them.

Helpful tutorial as always. Thanks for your time 👍

Thank you for the lesson in how to create an oil painting.

Thank you man! Love it!
Thanks for your shared knowledge
your really good loved your lesson
Pretty cool and fun
Thx. Can you scale or modify generatively filled elements? Like that ginormous full moon.
Thank you!! 😊😊
Can I supply the image for the fill? Perhaps an image of a specific gold watch on the wrist?

THANKS, VERY HELPFUL
mine is always inaccurate sometimes no generated image even i did a very specific promt
Great features thank you

Why not just use generative expand so you don’t have to use the rectangle boxes on both sides?
Because of the time of making this video, generative expand, wasn’t a feature. I have made an updated video including generative expand 👍🏻
Can you make black and white photos have color?
In all situations I got bad, or very bad results compared to yours. If you have any tip how to fix, it's more than welcome. Thank you.

useless.. how do i get the generative fill bar to pop up so i can use it?
Should be the last option under "windows" on the menu bar
Need to have the updated version of ps
How did you pick up that dreadful American expression, "Go ahead" ? Go ahead,Go ahead,Go ahead,Go ahead - so annoying! However, great video.

Good vid, but please stop saying 'go ahead' :)
You’re teaching a class, but you’re chatting too fast.
These are the worst results I’ve seen on here, and it’s making me wonder if people are editing out the bad ones and only keeping the good ones
chapter 2: youre lying
Adobe's software is great, but they are SO far behind in the AI department it's laughable
name the other options
Photoshop AI is actually pathetic at the moment. Much better options out there, if you want to do a decent job with AI
name some
@@GrantJolanta I don't do AI but if you look around, I'm sure you will find some decent software
actually youre getting shit for what you pay for, there are better AIoptions outthere
