Well, Vader is the most powerful chracter (in pure control of the force) to ever exist. Only a Jedi or a really giant creature to almost kill him
So it's basically Darth Vader vs. The Thing.

Yes pretty much. I imagine lightsabers would be pretty effective.
A necromorph would be more accurate. They're all about them little blades and face splitting.
@@gravelycritical true enough.
@@gravelycritical Have you never watched The Thing?
That THING was basically a Necromorph...
are you darth traya???
Ah Necromorph, where's Issac Clarke when you need him?
@JaigEyesCustom it couldn't. Vader requires too much machinery to live. While the Thing could copy the damaged organic parts of Vader's body, like it did Norris's bad heart, it wouldn't be able to use Vader's implants and fake limbs ( hell, remember it wouldn't even keep fillings or earrings from it's victims. ) Now what it might do, is simply discard Vader's inorganics and just fill the suit, but it's likely Palpatine could sense it's lack of Force.

Whoever draws Vader is extremely talented.. the way he can create such expression on a character who literally has no expression is AMAZING. Every panel I can tell what Vader is feeling.. unreal
Vader developed his rage and hate after losing his humanity, Stauz's rage and hatred made him throw his away, both lost everything and everyone they loved and their dark hatred and rage were all they had left. Vader was able to find something and someone else and claw his way back, Stauz never had that chance
Technically not human to begin with but the concept is there lol
Stauz never gave himself the chance, he threw it away because he was angry and wanted revenge more than anything else.
Ha, he scared the sith out of him.
'ba-doom psst'
Good one lol

Underrated
Literally, his eyes were blue for a while.
I always wondered if Stauz was able to see Vader’s memories too. It doesn’t say, and maybe when Stauz shed a tear it was because of Vader peering into his mind and making him remember the horrors of what happened. But it’s interesting to consider Stauz getting to see what drove Vader into a monster too, but we’ll never know.
Without fear, there isn't anger, hate, then suffering. So there is most likely more than just Stauz and his master.

“Darth Vader wonders about a father who died more of a machine than a man.”
Thats deep :0
It's this type of story that makes me love the extended Star Wars Universe. They're far more interesting to me than the movies alone will ever be.
Shouldn’t we be sad at this?
This reminds me of that X-Men animated episode from the early nineties called Obsession. Archangel wanted revenge on Apocalypse. At the end of the episode he said he won't rest until Apocalypse is destroyed or I am.
Then magneto ripped his wings off,and he married the purple blade girl
That's really deep if Vader feared him. A being that had lost everyone and everything he had ever cared about. His only solace was seeing Vader die.
What scared Vader the most is not just that there could be others like Stauz, but that any of his anonymous victims could follow his steps. Anyone can become a monster given the circunstances.
The opponent that scared him was Darth Sand
Oooooooooooooooooooo
Vader really felt a pain he hadn’t felt in such a long time. It shook him to his core because he can relate to all the pain and hatred he caused to that being. It was more of a fear of what he had become

I remember reading this comic when I was in middle school. It has some serious body horror and I was pretty spooked by it, lol. I loved Star Wars Tales and my library had a bunch of them.
Honestly from what it sounded like, Vader was shook by a combo of both how the person he was fighting was basically him without the force, AND The fact that he felt the emotions again as he had felt as a child while he was the one who caused that pain.
He literally was scared of himself through his opponents eyes and understood he only got there by doing the same thing Vader himself did but without the force

1) The "stfu" was unnecessary
2) Necromorphs arent smart but they *are* a threat. Theyre agile and much stronger than humans. Not a threat for Vader or any other Force user, but to pretty much everyone else, they are.
@@supercato9613 Shut up kid, hop off my meat. Necromorphs are trash tier in the starwars universe. They'd be easily handled.
@@hiibillymayshere4238 Dont forget that Necromorphs arent human-like creatures, they're restructured undead bodies. Necromorphs would be different, maybe more dangerous if they infected other races. Imagine necromorph Hutts. If I remember correctly, when a corpse becomes a necromorph, anything that isnt necessary for killing, like intestines and fat, is transformed into muscle. So in the Hutts case, fat Hutts and Hutt warriors would probably have the same strength when infected.
Then, in the Star Wars universe, there are only laser weapons, but there also are in Dead Space. The most effective way to kill a necromorph anyway is to dismember it, which would be hard since soldiers in Star Wars aim with their feet.
Necromorphs are basically space zombies, so there would be a huge lot in no time. Even Jedi and Siths wuld be surrounded and outnumbered. Only the really powerful ones who can do more than just telekinesis could avoid being surrounded.
And after all that, could Force users resist the Markers' influence over their minds?

Wow that is such a blast from the past. I had a random assortment of Star Wars comics from way back.
He was scared to face Padme, and afraid of losing her. He was afraid of Obi-Wan I’m sure, and he was afraid of Palpatine.
one of the beauties of vaders costume is scared or not youd never know hes just there. Another beauty is he doesnt even talk much kind of like animals when they are going to kill you, they stop making noises and circling and are just quiet looking for an opening
"Hey, Vader, meet my buddy, his name is Mngal Mngal"
"Look mate, I'm pure evil but this...WHAT HAVE YOU DONE"
Short sweet and to the point, thanks for not adding in any extra garbage, thanks you have my sub.

I'm learning things I've never known in the last two days and can't stop learning . This shit is incredible. I didn't know Darth Vader had a life outside of Darth Vader stuff .I thought he just stood at window of the death star all day just steering into the nothing for like ever and once in a while about ever two hours would give orders to kill lol
The story was so good it's no longer canon.
I read a bunch of starters comics at the library in East Los Angeles. This was one of em.
Now imagine a Vader series under Filoni and Favreau with an episode on this story. There is another comic in this series where he is surrounded by rebels on this desert planet and a commander shouts "Darth Vader, drop your weapons! You are surrounded!" and he replies with "All i am surrounded by is fear and dead men" Seeing that in live action would be fucking amazing
I love how the chronicles show that as terrifying as Darth Vader was, he has faced ruthless enemies who have pushed him to the brink of death.
It's so good to see Vader scared for once. Sure, he's awesome, but it's tiring seeing be constantly OP. Someone reversing it back on Vader is so fun to see.
