This clock has a nice tone. I notice the strike hammers strike solid and stop. They don't keep bouncing off the tone bar which means they are properly adjusted for a nice solid resonating sound. I finished a grandfather clock years ago that someone else started . I made a special sound board for the chime rods. It also has a deep resonating tone that goes all through the house. Some well known brand grandfather clocks sound like a toy piano with no real tone quality.
I like the opposite way, and usually 10 hour, 11 hour, 12 hour, because I find the end of a clock chime video if I hear the Westminister chime which has a huge meaning to me, it makes me feel calm.....
