Great to watch! It would be nice if you would also display the locations or countries where the footage was taken. I believe some of it was over Rio de Janeiro...
These guys obviously get the thrill of experiencing flying like birds. I can only imagine what that must feel like. I can see where it is extremely gratifying. (If you live.)
Yo that cloud action on the reverse angle @1:30+ is bonkers! Goes from looking like a dragon to then being a clapping devil looking in the other direction., clapping for you. Then he spurts out a couple of drone clouds just as the synthesizer does that bass drop. It was crazy!!! Soar high
Looks like they're on the edge of death at every moment. I do appreciate being brought along for the ride though, albeit from a much safer perspective!
In the first 1:30 (front camera, with pig 'prow'), how do they know how close they can fly to the terrain like that? Surely there could be a hidden obstacle you wouldn't see until the last moment? After all, those suits don't give Lift, they only slow the rate of descent somewhat, yes? Do they fly a drone down first to check the terrain? And how do you train for shit like that? Do they all get really good at normal skydiving first, then base-jumping, before they finally graduate to wingsuit??
So how do they map their routes? Do they use topographic maps and scout the area and specific route? Also how much can they adjust their angle of descent to clear obstacles? I can see how they use their legs and core to rudder but can they decrease the angle of descent using their velocity? Lastly has anyone ever tried landing by changing the angle of attack to stall out the velocity enough to land? I imagine the answer is no but I'm curious. Thanks.
Emily .....thats an old cliché. .....i feel if you cant tell of your experiences. ...whats the point.......thats the best part.....a crumpled daredevil........lifeless and pulverized is so stupid ........i agree risk reward.........these people are inviting death........never tempt fate ......
john biggins maybe but i went skydiving and it really makes you feel a certain kind of way and I can’t explain that so I haven’t really told people all about it I did go with my sister tho so I guess we experienced this together and don’t need to explain we just look at each other and know what we mean ahah But even the people you tell will die eventually there’s really no point to anything 😂 so better off just doing whatever makes you feel good in the moment, Right?
Shucks those first two flights were scary as crap! Good sport if you already have a terminal illness anyway, what the hay take a few risks as the end result is the same anyway.
as a Brazilian, I can say that the danger begins when she lands on the ground ... these damn drug dealers ... Rio is a hell of city... for your own safety, never come here
now this is freedom. so i'm gonna stop doing my 8 dollar an hour job and just fly. i need a wingsuit? well how much is that? i need lessons? what?how much is that? an airplane? but its about freedom man come on just give it me for nothing? oh youve never had to work for a living i see.
Most skydivers and BASE jumpers have full-time jobs. Many are relatively well-paid professionals--accountants, patent attorneys, consultants. The best and most experienced often make money as instructors. If you do wingsuit training flights with Carlos, you'll have to pay for his lift ticket (somewhere around $25 per jump), plus a training fee of $45 per flight. Some of the very best jumpers receive sponsorships as well, which helps them cover travel and lift tickets.
shizz le $8 an hour is your first problem. You need to get a better job, invest a little and let your money work for you. You could also start your own business. Stop thinking like an employee and think like an owner then maybe some of your dreams will come true. Good luck to you.
So cool to watch when they smack into something hard and then it's body parts separating and flying in different directions like that guy who hit the bridge. A great spectator sport for sure.
Yes, I'm afraid. For the last two years we've lost almost every Wingsuit BASE Rockstar that existed. Poli, Uli Emanuele, Ludovic Worth and many more. Luckyly Douggs is a "pussy" so he's fine :) I'm training to become a WS-BASE jumper and I hope, that the remaining guys will still be alive for at leas 5 years to teach me their paid lessons "how not to get yourself killed in a wingsuit"... BSBD
Worked in aviation for over 35 years and the beauty and amazement of flight never ever gets old. Good work Carlos! 6:42 mins of bliss.
....when i was a kid,i jumped off my dad's garden shed, with an umbrella,...!!
Great to watch! It would be nice if you would also display the locations or countries where the footage was taken. I believe some of it was over Rio de Janeiro...
... this is among the most wonderful that I can see in videos ...
Esse sonho não é impossível, basta procurar o aeroclube mais ´próximo kkk.
Love that thought deeply rooted..BFL is sadly so long to mention all beautiful guenine people passed away..Long live dreams

Love it!! Can anyone tell me what the average speed these guys are flying at?
100-150 mph world record for horizontal speed is ~250 mph (~400 kph)
This is insane!!💟💟 keep safe po!

Wingsuit proximity is a very dangerous sport, evwntually everyone that pratices it dies
Twenty-four killed last year alone - clearly a very lethal sport.
Everyone decides for himself. It's a free choice.
