I wish we had this technology when I was jumping in the 70's & 80's, BASE jumps back then killed many of us, I lost 2 friends in jumps at El Capitan, 1 in 74 and one in 76 when we were there. Wing suits were primitive & dangerous in the late 70's, these new suits would be a blast to fly!! Fantastic video

This is actually a really cool video. I'm a beginner skydiver and intend to be base jumping next year and move on up to wing suiting. This is actually just a realistic and inspiring little video - thanks bro.

2 years ago I flew like this in a lucid dream after few weeks of meditations. The feeling was so intense I am still impressed. Tried to fly again but it never happened.

I also fly in my lucid dreams, dont know if ya believe in “spirit animals” but mine is a hawk. Ive even been a hawk in many of my dreams

Base jumping is always a rush. Doesn't matter if you do it over 100 times it'll still be an unbelievable experience. And the thrill is just sooo breath taking :D

I fly in my dreams and it is amazing. You only have to think "I fly overthere" and it happens. Especially landing is an awesome feeling. You feel very light.

I fly by jumping high from rooftops and trees and leaning forward for some reason. And in my dreams, I'm always dreading that I suddenly can't do it anymore. And it happens. I'm flying all over the place, landing on roofs, flying up again, and suddenly I can't. It's strange and frustrating. Especially when I wake up and realize it was all in my head.

Indian para commandos and Airforce commandos are now practicing this maneuver and logging wing-suit flight hours.
Practice makes perfect. We are training to fly at night using heat sensing and night vision goggles.

Yes we already have a team in egypt working on the project hopefully we will have a working prototype by next July.
We are still working on the passive simulation but our goal is the active one where you control your experience
We will be launching our indegogo campaign as soon as we have a working prototype so people can support us if they like the idea

This is one of the deadliest things you can do. Most base jumpers and wing suit guys die at some point doing it

There is no skydiving license to get in Norway, they just jump from mountains. Its in fact illegal, but the cops cant do anything against it. Several people have died here from basejumping, mostly because of hitting the mountain sides. Harder to basejump from mountains like these than straight down from a tower or airplane. Last one who died was a 2-3 months ago, a tourist. It requires more skill and knowledge to jump from these mountains than normal skydiving. Some are easier routes/mountains than others. I've even seen some wooden platforms on some spots, most likely for this type of stuff.

xD, that ain't real flying! The trajectory is downwards right from the get go. If you want to fly, TOUGH SHIT! You CAN'T FLY, unless somehow we could alter our bodies to be less dense than we currently are, and\ or boost our strength to weight ratio drastically, we'll never be able to fly like the bats and birds!
