  • Canada's northern border used to be patrolled using the Lee Enfield. Today the Canadian Rangers in Canada's north patrol with the Tikka T3X Arctic. This is a slick firearm and a great choice by the Canadian government. On the other hand, I'm not sure the same great decisions are being made about the gun laws. Tune in for some of my thoughts on the topic. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to click the bell to be notified of future videos, and support the channel however you can.

As a Mohawk person living on a reserve in Ontario Canada I can say truly that weather or not they make amendments for my people to keep these firearms is not the point. I stand with my fellow Canadians in the fact that banning hunting rifles and shotguns isn’t going to change anything for public safety. This government is destroying our country and pitting citizens against each other.

I'm a Canadian, and while I thank you for speaking up about the Canadian government banning guns, I don't think the concentration and outrage over hunting rifles is the only conversation we need to have. Semi autos like the AR-15 have been around for decades, and have been used by many hunters for small and medium game, even in Canada before they were declared to be restricted and only permissible to be used at approved ranges. All guns are suitable for free citizens to own, even the so called military style assault weapons.

    It’s not about safety…. It’s about CONTROL.

It's about the firearms themselves unfortunately. Not the caliber, action, or intended purposes. Governments will use any excuse or tactic available, including misinformation and fear to sway the public. I really enjoy your videos, I hope cooler heads prevail

Canadian here. Not a city guy but I do happen to live in one. There is a huge disconnect between urban and rural living in this country and it's getting worse. I've started to invite some of my coworkers to go out shooting, even if they never plan on owning or even wanting to own a gun. Education and knowledge is always a good thing and it seems to be seriously lacking in this case. BTW, my old hunting partner from up north had several Ruger No. 1s. He swore by them.

Nothing is a threat to their security, if they have good intentions for their citizens. It's about complete control, and no resistance to that control.

The Canadian Rangers rifle is completely different from a regular t3x. All steel components are rated for -60 Celsius. I worked with the Rangers a few yrs back, they told me a Polar bear story. 7 shots center of mass to stop it with the 303. Those Rangers are Very special people. I'm from the East coast, no Polar bears but plenty of Bleack bears. If Trudeau thinks I'm giving him my rifle, he's wrong. Chimo

It’s not about public safety. It’s about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030. The Great Reset. Whatever you want to call it. Disarmament. Period.

As a Canadian, thanks from the bottom of my heart for covering this. These so-called "assault style" weapons bans are a global effort and will eventually inflict every country in the G20. I want my kids and grandkids to enjoy the same fundamental rights and freedoms as I have. We all need to speak up and stand together if we want to put a stop to this nonsense.

If someone wants to ban a falling block rifle, we are all in trouble.

I've lived in Western Canada for 65 years. During that time I served in the light infantry, RCMP, corrections and the last 9 years as a Sheriff. I have been shooting and collecting for 35 years, mostly Winchester rifles and S&W handguns.

I live in the country in Ontario. Up and down my road most homes have a rifle or some firearm in them. We all get along, our neighbourhood is very peaceful. If someone from Toronto knew I had some hunting rifles, they would be in shock, I would be under suspicion. The truth is it is the gangs that have caused this anxiety.

Canadian here. Thanks to you and all the folks that have come forward to get this issue into the spotlight. The long and the short of it is that this debacle isn’t even about firearms, it’s about control. Governments are busy transforming ‘citizens’ into ‘subjects’. If this is allowed to happen, the future will be dark indeed. Firearms owners are the most upstanding and law abiding citizens of Canada, if they will persecute us, how long before they come for you?

I feel badly for my Canadian neighbors, even here in NY we have more liberal gun laws. Canada is a huge country citizens can not count on law enforcement to be near to protect them

I feel badly for my Canadian brothers and sisters....Your country is run by the people who live in a few large population centers...passing laws or worse, issuing edicts, with no regard for the rights of responsible, law abiding gun owners. We in the states would be in the same predicament were it not for the wisdom of our founders, who established the Electoral College, which is how the political minority avoids the tyranny of the majority. Best wishes Mike; I hope gun owners in Canada can somehow avoid this madness.
