This one really has it all for a solo rpg. Outstanding game. I'm playing my first campaign now, and it's every bit as fun as Five Parsecs From Home, and Rangers of Shadow Deep. I still recommend playing those other two, because they are great too, but this is the best solo rpg I've tried yet.
I'd love to, but it's a lot of work and I only have so much time in the day! I am still around in a capacity, I just can't make any promises regarding more content.
Don't know if you check comments still, but in case you do: are you planning to come back at some point. I genuinely believe you're one of the best wargaming channels due to your focus on indie games.
Dude, I watched your Five Parsecs review and loved it. I was looking for some Five Leagues content to listen to while I clean out the garage and clicked on your playlist not knowing it was you and I was pumped to hear your voice. I knew I was in for quality content. Sweet.
Ohh, this looks interesting. I love Five Parsecs, and this seems to be a fantasy themed version using a relatively similar system. I have a ton of D&D miniatures, and a lot of characters from past campaigns that haven't seen combat in a long time that would be great to get back on the table, so this might be something I pick up
The additions include it feeling more like a story in that you have achievable goals to eliminate the threats (think Rivals, but they are persistent and threaten the area as well as you).
Hi Saul. I can see from your comments below that you are too life-busy for making content, which can't be helped! Just wanted to let you know how brilliant your videos are, and I hope you are till having hobby fun when you can :-)
Fantastic. Could you he tempted to do another crunch video in this format for 5 Parsecs? To compliment your absolutely fantastic review / play through vid.
That's a tall order atm! These tutorials tank my creative juju, they're hell to produce. I did consider making one for parsecs at a point, I might do so when the expansions drop depending on state of mind.
Gaaah, this wasn't on my radar too much until now... now I may buy yet another rule set! Seems it's different enough from 5PFH than just just re skin...
This game looks fun! Now if only they had wasteland cars and more ranged weapons doing battle in some sort of Cement City. 😂 great video bud. Always a pleasure to watch you game
i have a question about the rules... in the bagpack i can have 8 items ...if i have 8 bandages my back pack is full? or i can have any number of the same item ...thank you
@@CementSaul 1 more question if i complete the objetive the scenario automatically end? or i can continue killing the rest of the enemys and hold the field to? thank you

Saul, I miss your content man. Please keep covering games here on the channel.

yep, still around! Just very occupied with things that aren't making videos

It's great! Close enough to parsecs to be familiar but way different in how it handles the campaign. The book's gonna be gorgeous, too.

Miss these videos hope to see you back soon uploading!

Great video as your previous Saul! Hope you have the juju to share more of your lovely self with us.
Really enjoyed the how to. Nice job on your video!
Great tutorial and lots of fun to watch! I had been thinking of diving into 5 Parsecs but I think I will go with 5 Leagues instead.
Phenomenal video, really excited to dive into Five Leagues!
Hope to see another video from you again soon
Same
Can't wait to get my war band going. Looking good so far!
Got a bunch more stuff on the workbench for future vids too!
Looking forward to jumping into this.

Haha, I appreciate it!
Thanks so much for this tutorial - really useful :)

@@CementSaul no worries, thank you for all the wonderful and professional vids 🍻👌
Excellent as always.

I like your special 'ketchup and mustard' themed dice❗
Interested to learn more about the campaign rules too
I'm jonesing for part 2 :)
Are you still around? Will you come back someday?
I'm around, never really left! Just been really busy on this end.

Any updates on how the reviews coming along?
Yesss
Great video thanks!
Glad you liked it!
I had bought and printed the second edition. Do you think there is enough new/polish to make it worth picking up the new edition?
i have a question about the rules... in the bagpack i can have 8 items ...if i have 8 bandages my back pack is full? or i can have any number of the same item ...thank you
Yep, each bandage counts for 1 backpack slot.
@@CementSaul 1 more question if i complete the objetive the scenario automatically end? or i can continue killing the rest of the enemys and hold the field to? thank you
is there a physical copy of this book available or is it in PDF only?
Both, I'd wager, but to see for one's self check Modiphius Entertainment or DrivethruRPG.
1D6 rolling mechanics.... so boring
