Awesome! I think forbidden Psalm is one of my faves that I've checked out. Just so much for and coolness. Plus the book itself is an epic artifact by itself. That's for the terrain shoutout
Was not expecting to see Forbidden Psalm pop up here! It's one of a number of awesome offshoots of Mork Borg, where the core mechanics are derived from.
Great video! This looks like a good System. I'm looking forward to the writer's next game, The Last War. also, you made those Wargames Atlantic Halflings look fantastic!
Awesome and easy to follow explanation of the game. I am interested in The Last War but got directed to this video and I am glad. Do you know if the game mechanics are the same for both games? I would love to hear your take on that game.
This is the first video of yours that I’ve seen and I’ve got to say it was fantastic! You do a really good job of explaining the rules with good visuals and high quality editing, looking forward to watching more. Could you tell me what miniatures you used for the human soldier enemies in this video please? They look really cool and unique, thanks. 😊
This is honestly interesting. Stats wise it reminds me of Five Parsecs from Home a bit. I wonder if there is a chance that we could use the character making in FPFH in this as well, or even from Five Leagues From the Borderlands
This looks interesting, and i am always interested in new solo games that give me a good excuse to print out new miniatures. my resin printer really went out of whack because i was printing models everyday for nearly a month straight for a painting contest, and half of December for Christmas before that. basically, i put it through the ringer, and i'm having trouble getting it working. But, this seems pretty interesting, and the tone of it is intriguing. Might have to put this on my list of solo games to start once i finish the first expedition for Twisted Bayonet, assuming my printer will finish printing my models for it.
My resin printer's out of commission too, also probably due to overuse! Lovely to hear someone's playing through Twisted Bayonet, lemme know how it goes.
@@CementSaul I definitely will! I'm actually going to be running through it co-op with my brother. We found a set of medieval styled animals we are going to use. It's just funny to us to have the soldiers be fuzzy animals, lol. I modified a few of the miniatures to have flintlocks, and we're going to run through the campaign together. Looking forward to finally getting started once the printer is up and running again.
Creator of the game here thank you so much for making this
yo, I'm still new to forbidden psalm, so do you have any recommendations for miniature brands for the game?
@@justaguy3273 yep frostgrave miniatures. Warcry from games workshop. Wargames atlantic
Legend!!!
Your game and turnip28 made me want to get back into tt games
Seriously: i was not sure if I should buy this game but after that Video i smashed the buy button on WGV as hard as i could!

A very good, clear explanation of the rules. A nice refresher if one hasn't played in awhile.
I just got the book in the mail this week and excited to dive in and build a warband.
Hope you enjoy it! Rolling for the feats and flaws is a fun time
Fantastic video! Great for showing your group before you get into it for the first time.

Loved the video! There isn't the insufferable amount of padding for runtime like so many other wargaming channels seem to have nowadays. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed!
One of my fav skirmish games
great video Saul, I love how you take the time to fully understand a system before making a videos about it.

Great video, I laughed when you fumbled the fumble.
Superb explanation and lovely figures.
This looks really interesting! Combining Mordheim and Silent Hill really tingles my jingles (not the salt miner).
Awesome tutorial!
Great overview! This is definitely on my "to play" list. Any interest in Forbidden Psalm: The Last War?
Thank you for the video!
I bought this game because of this video. Come back Saul we miss your videos!
Did you back the mork börg minis kickstarter?

You could use the name generation, but the stats won't really line up. The core engines are a bit too different!
This looks fun. Thanks for sharing.

6 omens give to everyone in party in each scenario? And resetting after scenario. I am right?
Yep, omens are free once each and come back every new scenario.
@@CementSaul thx
What scale models are you using?
These are 28mm-ish from Wargames Atlantic and GW, the halflings are probably closer to 32mm.
Sounds like if someone took 5Parsec units and jammed it into Frostgrave.
where are the models from?
The halflings are from Wargames Atlantic, not sure about the others.
The humans are GW empire models, not exactly sure which ones as I got em off a random bulk lot.
@@CementSaul I got some random spare models, would you be interest in a bits swap?
@@CementSaul thank you sir
who makes the minis in the warband?
These are the Wargames Atlantic Halfling Militia!
9:00. The background noise makes it hard to hear.
Sounds okay, but not a fan of 'lol everything random!' when I'm designing a warband.
