I did the same steps in the video but the website went down and gave me the error too many redirects. Can you please tell me what caused it

Try clearing your browser or disable plugins via ftp.

Too many redirect is issue related to ssl , if your are using cloud flare then use the security ->> only cloud flare ssl in your cloud panel ,
And in cloud flare use ssl full. Mode instead of flexible
