Thanks. I was thinking of doing that, actually, but got cut up with other ideas. I will push it up the list 😀

    Of course I subscribed!
I have previously deployed docker applications (Nextcloud and Trilium) on the VPS with Cloudpanel. If I install Dockge will it detect those applications?

Thanks! Unfortunately will only see them but you can't alter them thru Dockge. I guess you will need to move then manually to the stacks folder and have the volumes in there and start them via Dockge. I have not test it yet.

Can you do a tutorial on how to deploy to cloudpanel from github? I don't find any GUI for this purpose similar to that of Plesk Panel.

I will try to do something in next period. You can check: www.cloudpanel.io/docs/v2/dploy/installation/

You should not open ports 5000-5100 in your firewall rules. Use reverse proxy just to be on the safe side.

Yes. Correct. Mentioned on the video. That was just to show the port access.

Great video! I just have one question. If I understood correctly I don't have to actually open any ports in CloudPanel, I can just use reverse proxy for Dockge and all apps installed with Dockge?

Yes. You are right. You should not allow any port in the firewall. That is there just for the omes who may need it. To keep thinks secure only allow reverse proxy traffic.

If I am running a NodeJS app, what is the difference between using the NodeJS site or the Reverse Proxy site? Because the web panel doesn't help setup the NodeJS app. I still need to run the NodeJS service via PM2 in the SSH.

It's not a very big difference. Just uses nvm to run node JS version you want. Other than this, I don't see a difference.
