The point up or down tip is a winner when you're doing this shawl! It really makes it easy which row you.ended on and where to start. Thanks for another lovely project-even if it is knit!😀

I was knitting on a current project while watching your tutorial. I was so fascinated by it that I put away my project, grabbed some yarn that would work, and started making it along with you. This is great fun and I like the shape. Thanks.

wow! Love this pattern! It's such a fun to knit!
At the beginning I placed a marker on the wrong side - 5 stitches in from the beginning. On the right side row I removed the marker, knit a Kfb, knit one, and placed the marker back before Kfb, knit, Kfb.
That way I never needed to count when to increase - and it was really easy.

Your demonstration is so easy to follow, thankyou. Can't wait to make this scarf. May I also say it is so pleasant to look at such clean manicured hands.

I love this!! Thank you ❤️ I found that putting a stitch marker after the 5th stitch on the knit row makes it so nice for the next row because I don't have to stop knit in to see if I've reached those last 5 stitches that are the pattern. I'm 59 and just learning to knit and this is a real confidence building project 👍🤩

I think this is going to be my most favorite shawl. Using large needles is a great idea as I have had knitting problems with sore hands from using small needles. Actually it has been awhile since I picked up needles! I will give this a go. I will be frogging some earlier starts and use that yarn to see if knitting works out. You are such a dear and it is easy to follow your instructions.

I gotta say, FS, I just love your tutorials. You break everything down and make it seem so simple. Thank you so much for that. And I love Alice in Wonderland (or is it Through the Looking Glass?). I used to read it at least once every six months or so for years. Thank you for the beautiful shawl!

Hey Spider, love this shawl had been doing the large sweater jackets this will be a great change of pace. Love the yarn you are working with, but have soooooo much stash that think I will be using the mandala yarn with a #9 needle think it will give it the same affect. Thank you for the lovely shawl pattern, it is so wonderful that you can both crochet and knit, we have the best of both in you. Thank you for sharing and as always love, laughter and happy crafting.

I'm making this shawl right now! I'm making a slight change though: I'm only doing the KFB on the first row and the increases on all the other rows are YOb(yarn over) increases. This makes it actually go faster AND it puts a pretty lacy edge on the shawl 🤩

Mzdiana just keep practicing!! You will master it. I failed for over a decade to knit. At the start of 2018 I decided I was going to do it no matter what!! I watched loads of videos, one of which was lovely mr fiber spider!
Now I’m knitting up a storm! I’ve made sweaters and vests, whatever my family wants/needs.
I crochet as well. I absolutely know you will master it one day, have faith in yourself ❤️❤️❤️

Now I've done so many malabrigo mechita Brenna Shawls , due to the perfect size. And although I can knit, I would love to find a stockinette shawl of a similar size and with just a small amount of fuss,or lace !!!?? Am I selling you the idea yet ,lol.,😁 Thankyou yet again. .I've sat up all night ,with a windy dog curled up next to me and I'm having a coffee ,and putting the last few stitches to my 12th Brenna shawl, for now.😘💞Amanda xx
