Sitting watching this in Derry with my partner. I had her out fishing for her first time. Now she's looking to sea fishing from the shore. Thanks for making me spend more money on fishing rods/reels and equipment, any rips on what would be the best to buy. Enjoy your fishing big man, i enjoy watching
Hi Ricky. You are lucky enough to have the opportunity to share your past time with your partner, fantastic! As far as a recommendation for some tackle. I would say go, middle of the road! Not too expensive, not too cheap! Most of the tackle I have is from overseas, and is not available in the UK or Ireland. Also most of it is too old, and that made any more. So I don't really have an opinion! But most rods and reels will do the job these days. Glad you like it brother, tight lines 😁👌
@@Billyfishing_watch Just had a trawl on eBay wondering if there was any Abu Suveran rods for sale. Drew a blank. Getting very difficult buying used rods online these days - the carriage costs seem to have gone through the roof.

@stephenwalford774 Hi, it's really not that complicated. The top hook is a pulley, and the bottom hook is a variation of three. A paternoster. Is the pulley P and the pulley D, is the bottom hook in the one down position. And the pulley X, is just a clip down Wessex, using a relay clip in the middle of the rig body so you can clip it down, just like the pulley D. So if you're still confused just research these types of rigs that I mentioned. Paternoster, one down, and Wessex! Thanks Brother 😁 👌

If you go boatfishing in deeper water, you will soon get tired of the tusk/brosme! They will bite on everything that comes near the bottom, metal jigs, softbaits and every kind of natural baits. I have caught tusk to 11kg from a boat and 7 kg from the shore, but those are not bragging fish, the norwegian record is more than 16 kg , and there has been catches of fish up to 12 kg from the shore.

Kool stuff! Is the rubber like tubing specially made for fishing? (Dinghy dangle), or can I use air rubber hose for aquariums?
@anthonyalleyne8724 I use plastic tubing for kids bracelets. it is very tough, so I can cut the bait off with a pair of scissors! Thanks brother
You should get a drone to get your bait out in to deeper water if your not getting much within casting distance.
It doesn't work that way in Norway! There are fewer fish in the deeper water. I was casting into sometimes 60 meters of water.
