That accent thing totally happens. When I first came to the US for an entire first month I was wondering why people aren't as funny as I had imagined them to be. Then I realized that I wasn't in a sitcom.
Imagine Americans going to another country and complaining the locals weren’t fulfilling their stereotypes. Sounds the stereotype of ignorant Americans doesn’t it?lol
@@spencer6874 You use the same amount of water with a bath no matter how long you’re in there; unlike with a shower (which is the advice to save water, take shorter showers)

The bit about how people react when you say you're from NZ is SO true, every single time I've visited the USA and someone asks I got the "it's so far away!" response and they always know someone who's been hahaha xD
That talk show/ Trump joke was perfect. Just when I thought the words "Donald Trump" had been completely burnt out in comedy, BOOM, a flawless meta joke.
So accurate. I use this app called stereo and every american bloke on there says "how's covid down there, I've always wanted to go to america" literally all of them bro

@@stephenlovelace9081 the "so thats all the types of wood" line killed me.

New Zealand's answer to Owen Wilson.
Spot on.
Wow
Mash709 *in Owen Wilson voice* wow
I was just going to comment that I'm so happy I saw this🤣
I was gonna say what would happen if Owen Wilson and Matthew Mcconaughey got in that fucked up teleporter from the fly and became one person.
He looks like how Shaggy would dress if he got cold
Hahah underrated ass comment !
Like ZOINKS, you're right, Scoob!
Bingo

i would have this exact experience in aus/nz if i ever went because all the australian/kiwi content i ever watch or listen to is comedy

This seems like the kinda guy I’d like to sit down and watch Grown Ups 2 with for 52 weeks in a row
Or Paul Blart 2 once a year
He seems like a guy that knows that holidays can be real tough for families and you need turkey to your door right now
Wonder what this guy's up to these days? Where's he off to?
Scottye Moore 😂

ha, got real worried for him when he said what impression he'd do, but it all worked out in the end
Oh man, he nailed that one. I was worried, whew.
RIGHT? I was thinking, “this very well may have aged quite poorly indeed.” And then I was PLEASANTLY surprised. I really like this guy.
...this Guy?

Why would you be worried
I was also like *"no, please don't do this"* but it turned out alright.

Ha
he normally does have a mustache and that's exactly who he looks like lmao
check out his Instagram I think you'll be pleasantly surprised
His American accent sounds kinda like Andy Samberg.
Andy Samberg in Parks & Rec! Haha all the yelling
Wow I was thinking the exact same thing
I thought it was a slightly muted Jim Carrey
Cassun the “Just so FAR” was 100% Jim Carey
Nah, he looked and sounded like Owen Wilson
Lol his American impersonation kills me
It's all about volume.
He has me on the edge of my seat with the way he is holding the mic

oh he does talk about carbon footprint @ 5:35
Tragically underrated comedian

Wouldn't call him underrated, he's huge in nz i think
I wasn't quite sure whether he was from New Zealand until he said "yet"

Idk I say it more like ben
I noticed that too. But, I give him the benefit of the doubt on that one--just a little slip up.
He should be a character in Brooklyn 99
Ive been listening to Till Death do us Blart for years, but have never seen what Guy looks like. This is exactly what I pictured.
this is the man that watched grown ups 2 every week for a year and watches paul blart 2 every thanksgiving until he dies
