That is the system for me, solar panels are so cheap now , I will buy 2 units plus as many extra batteries as required for my house then decorate the fence and garden walls with solar panels and that’s the energy requirements done for most of the year, recharge the batteries on cheap night rate in the winter 👌 it’s “the future” no expensive electricians/Solar installers involved, I love it ,

The control to reduce the input charge power is a very useful function that I don't have with my cheaper Aferiy P210. Reason: As I wish to power my home entirely from my solar PV system, without any imported electricity to be drawn from the mains grid, my Aferiy draws 1100w. However in cloudy UK, whenever frequent heavy clouds obscure the sun, the power output from my solar system falls to considerably less than that 1100 power draw, thus importing the difference from the mains grid - bah.
The Dabbsson DBS3500 & the larger Aferiy P310 have the input power reducer. Over the course of the unit's lifespan, charging at a lower input power, almost eliminates mains electricity costs & extends the life of the unit's battery - all good.
Regrettably, the Aferiy P210 is what I could afford (got a really good price), but the Dabbsson DBS3500 is what I really wanted; it just costs too much for me at present.

I have four 400 watt Bi-facial solar panels in series and I consistently get 1500 to over 1600 watts in full sun. These are connected to a DBS3500 with an extra battery. I will be adding another two panels to get up to 2400 watts. I will need to use these panels in parallel, I should be able to charge from zero to full in slightly over 4 hours. I don't think the XT60 is a limitation unless you have two extra batteries.
