    I'm a big Shand fan - and I love to see people enjoy themselves dancing to his music. And if you think that it's merely people in their autumn years that have cornered this mrket - think again. The young ones in Scotland are as much adept and enthusiastic as grandma and grandad - they are taught Scottish Country Dancing in schools as a religion.

      Hi David my father was James Johnstone Grant from Fife think he was born in the gauldry my grandfather worked on fliskmiln farm he lived in the farm cottages at bottom of the brae looking out over the fields towards the tay

      @@erinshand6232 stan saunders was my uncle his wife was my dad's sister any one to whom I have spoken to who played with stan have commented that he was a very good bass player as an uncle he was always good company

    Yes, but we also did set dances, for two, four, or eight couples , like The Siege O Of Ennis, or The Walls Of Limerick, when we could and did go wild.😈😈😈😈😈

    Shand was a locational name 'of Shaund' a small spot in France. He was not a Scot.
