    This stuff is awesome I’m trying to source one together! Do you think you could swap a moto engine into one?

    Awesome man. Out of the 3 mowers what one has the better tires? Have you ever ran a 801 peerless transaxle? And thoughts

    • @mihkus
      @mihkus 2 года назад

      Piece of crap, 4/8 speed wheelhorse is the only transaxle worth buying, everything else will fall apart first ride. I went the way of car gearbox and small car rear axle that was shortened by like 70cm, its only 110cm wide now. Only downside is slow gear changes, I tried belt clutch on it but I swapped back to chain drive and centrifugal clutch with really weak spring so it engages at like 1500rpm, I have idle set very low, crap original carburetor or chinese 420cc doesnt allow low enough idle I drove it last weekend, sort of slow, but scary enough for me. I also made custom frame because that sheetmetal stuff would break in half, car stuff is much heavier and also theres nowhere to attach anything

    I see your lights are always the same brightness are they hooked up to the battery. And the charging system is enough to keep the battery alive?

    Hey okoffroadmowers I was thinking of doing this idea to my 84 sears but I don't get a lot of spare time, would like to see how you do it.
    The idea in theory is attaching a second transmission to it powering both by welding or bolting a pulley on top of the first transmission pulley, running a belt from first one to second one and attaching second to the back of the mower with angle iron or something what do you think
    My pulley set up was going to be 3" to 8" to 6" to 3"
    I forgot to mention it is vertical shaft
