the explanation as far as i know is, he is a sculptor who sees someone in his dreams and tries to desperately remember how they look. „Girl, you’re my hallucination“ is basically like you’re only in my dream and i can never see you.
The making of the mv clips where it was explained it's him chasing the images from a dream and trying to remember who he saw made it make a lot more sense to me. Tortured artist trying to find his inspiration.
You might be overthinking these a smidge. Also, to make it a bit easier, the MV’s aren’t connected. You’ve just watched three of the four darker themed ones in a row.
@@susannac3894 That’s why I said 3 out of 4. The darker ones are Ultra, Railway, Hallucination and Unfair. He’s watched three of them. As we are, youth, hold my hand, and so good are all much lighter.
this’s I.N hes playing the concept of a sculptor who saw a girl in his dream (as you can see in some clips hes sleeping) and as a sculptor hes trying to sculpt, crave her but he cant remember her clearly no matter where he sleeps he still cant and theres a clips of him running in the dream trying to see anything to help and when he wakes up hes immediately searching for a paper or a sketchbook to draw her but he still cant remember and if you took a look at the drawings and sculptures in the mv they have no faces and features, hes hallucinating about her but he cant remember any features to craves her its a concept of being frustrated as I.N said in the behinds
You mirror my enthusiasm regarding their MVs. A true STAY at heart, it’s not just a mv there’s so much depth to what they do and why. So I can sometimes feel myself overthinking something, when it’s just what is and nothing more. I love SKZ content, overall great for the mind and soul.
I love the song for this. And the video is very enthralling. If you pause in the scenes where He's looking at the light bulb, it looks like a painting. So cool.
thanks for reacting to the mv, they show very different colours and sides✨️ to understand better the concepts you should review the lyrics, they are very specific and you can view the total image. With stray kids i like to think that the lyrics are always important
I honestly never try to figure out their videos... that's above my pay grade as a Stay. 😂 I know there is a storyline/lore. But I'm not willing to figure it all out. It's cool that many fans do keep up with it, though. Maybe that makes me less of a Stay? 🤷🏼♀️🤪
Some of the MVs pair very well with the lyrics in an obvious sort of way (unfair for example matches the MV explicitly) whereas some have the MV explore a double meaning or different interpretation of the song (railway for example, where the lyrics sound like they’re obviously about one thing but the MV offers another perspective) I think the MV for hallucination is a lot like railway in offering a different story and perspective on the song than what it originally sounds like, I think I.N had a lot of fun with this one and you can watch the behind the scenes for each MV to gain a deeper understanding if you like as they’ve just uploaded the behind the scenes videos on YT ❤
Also Tony if you’re going to watch Han’s Hold My Hand you have to do it with lyrics or you’re not going to have a clue. And you also need to listen to Alien first with the lyrics. It’s a story of his life and struggles and I can’t express what a disservice you would be doing to yourself. And you need an Alien lyric video.
the mv for Hallucination is about him chasing( the running part) a "hallucination" or inspiration for his art (sculptures) and hes desperately trying to remember the girl in his hallucination that hes trying to sculpt but can can never see it and only remembers blurry fuzzy flashbacks? from his dreams
If you feel confused and intrigued, then you are falling deeper into Stray Kids' charm especially you don't usually watch MV. They make their listeners/viewers imagine or find out what the meanings of their content himself/herself and that is reason why people got drawn in. Good luck to you. Felix's Unfair next please because I love how artistic and beautiful it was filmed.
It's fun watching you react to all of these. I do believe that many of the MVs are shot with different directors etc, so prob not related to each other. Interesting to see the individual ideas in each of them though. The real question is, can you name and identify all of the members yet? lol
I watched the music video probably 15 times before the making of it video and said “oh yea who would of thought there was an actual concept behind it?” 😂😂 I was so distracted by Daddy Toast 😂
Whether or not you're over thinking the meaning doesn't really matter. As a writer, I have the same habit and even connect MVs when there isn't a connection. I just use it all as inspiration lol
Please react to the MV for Youth by Lee Know. I was surprised in your Hop Album reaction that you didn't hate the song and actually ended up putting it on your fun/good mood playlist. I really love the song so much, the vocals are superb, the high adlibs towards the end are 😇😇and the MV goes perfectly with it, it's just an absolute dopamine hit. The concept is so unique, just like our cat bunny, and there's so much happening, every time I watch it I see something new, it's a visual feast.🙏🙏
The origin version is with rap written and composed by Changbin. I.N. listen to the demo and love it so he asked Changbin to give him this song. I.N. helped writing the melody and lyrics. He said in the making of this MV video that hopefully the rap origin version will be released someday.
I kinda have a random comment to make about this MV. So in Skz lore, Jeongin or I.N. is considered the "villian" because he uses other member's strengths to his advantage. Jeongin definitely knows about the fact that Felix can travel through to different dimensions. I wonder if "Hallucination" is the prequel to the Jeongin villian arc? I mean that maybe this is Jeongin's own story from his own dimension before he turned "bad". The idea of this tortured artist who can't paint because he has not found his muse...maybe his obsession led him to become the "villian" in the Skz lore.
I personally don't think it's because of the album being your fav now I honestly think you're getting into the full appreciation of all the aspects of their artistry now you've learnt more about them and their albums. Stray kids did the same to me, I was totally uninterested in MV's because of the S#!@ out there but they changed me with theirs. I love the artistic meanings in skz MV's and anyone who says they're just cool transitions or random things thrown in are wrong, there's a reason and thought was put into them, they are not surface level superfical BS like a lot flooding the current market which is another reason I love them.
I feel like you should react to Red Lights when you're done with the HOP videos since you also liked that one a lot. Just a suggestion and love your videos!
He did react to the red lights video he just enjoys being sneaky and hiding things 😂. If you go to his “best stray kids albums and songs so far” and click on the 🚨 at the very bottom of his video description it will take you to where he posted it privately

Imagine watching this MV and having no preconception of a dolphin-voice babybread with braces 🥹 Gosh I'm so proud of him 😍
The making of the mv clips where it was explained it's him chasing the images from a dream and trying to remember who he saw made it make a lot more sense to me. Tortured artist trying to find his inspiration.
An artist in search of his muse, best explanation I got lol
Simple and correct explanation about this MV.
You might be overthinking these a smidge. Also, to make it a bit easier, the MV’s aren’t connected. You’ve just watched three of the four darker themed ones in a row.
I agree lol... I was just thinking "Tony, you're overthinking the videos" and your comment popped up 😂
@ Great minds! 😂
He hasn't watched Unfair yet.

@@lauren3135 Absolutely.
I recommend having the lyrics / caption on while trying to put the pieces together when watching their mvs.

Yes look at the lyrics with the video it gives you more information 😃👍🏽
I think turning on the captions will help understand a little 😂😊
Yeah I was wondering why the captions were off as well. 😂

Baby bread isn't a baby anymore 😢
tony being confused through all the videos but liking them is very on point as a stay🤣
I love the song for this. And the video is very enthralling. If you pause in the scenes where He's looking at the light bulb, it looks like a painting. So cool.
IN seems very creative and thoughtful to me. I like that this was more about him having a memory or focusing on the mystery.
As far as I know this MV is set in modern day times.
You might consider using the subtitles.
There is a behind the scenes video for each of the songs as well as the intro.
thanks for reacting to the mv, they show very different colours and sides✨️ to understand better the concepts you should review the lyrics, they are very specific and you can view the total image. With stray kids i like to think that the lyrics are always important
Most artists dress the dancers in black or whatever color is opposite to what they are wearing so that the artist(s) stands out.
I love seeing all the fresh interpretations thank you!

Anyone who love SKZ's music and support them is a certified good Stay.

Yeaa same for me , hop is the only album so far where I love all the tracks and videos

Watch the "making of" videos. They explain it really well.

The way I ran at the notification
Tony, you need to watch the 'making of' films, they will explain the concepts of the videos

ah one of my favorite skz players (solo mvs)
IN voice is very unique & MV is wow
This is my fav MV he's amazing 🤩
