What's up guys! Welcome back to another Horizon Forbidden West Machine Master gameplay video on PS5 performance mode 60fps. Today we have an epic battle between my Fire Clawstrider mount aka Peanut and a Slitherfang, This was an extremely close fight with a birds-eye view of the entire thing so get comfy and enjoy the show. clawstriders seem less like they are for mounting and more as flat out combat companions
@CrazyJabberwock The damage they do is nuts, specially with the Tenakth Recon outfit to increase the machines elemental damage. They're slow asf to ride!
Bear in mind that an overriden Elemental Clawstrider is roughly equal in power to an Apex Elemental Clawstrider, and their level is HIGHER than a Slitherfang’s!
@THE STORY OF US yeah, the overridden machines are OP. In this gameplay I had the difficulty set to normal btw, might not go well for the Clawstrider if I set it to Very Hard, which is what I'm doing now.
That little guy must be packing, cuz I thought the snake would win.
He's doing so much chop bcos the snake machine is weak to fire and it's set on normal difficulty for this fight.
@@HoldingCellGames it’s like I’m watching “Monster Bug Wars” 😂, definitely recommend if you haven’t seen it.
You can boost over ridden machines health and elemental attack damage with skill perks.
On Ultra Hard, there is a Lancehorn machine site just south of the Handa Salvage Contracts that has like 12x Lancehorns & 2 Rollerbacks. Overriding a Rollerback on that site unleashes pure unbridled CHAOS!!!
The whole area becomes a litany of hellfire, machine screams & explosions. Also be sure to call in a Clawstrider or Fire Bristleback mount that you have stored up. Just don't let yourself be seen during this mess or you are deader than fried chicken!
On the other hand it is one of the most fun things I've ever experienced in this game. I'm surprised the game doesn't crash from the sheer chaos that ensues.
@skins4thewin I live for chaos in this game lol. I went to this location a few times but never seen more than 4 Lancehorns, 2 Burrowers and 2 Rollerbacks (one being Apex) at the same time. I kinda want them to see me if there's that many machines, it will be the greatest party of all time lol
@@HoldingCellGames Lol I think there is some random chance involved w the machines that show up. When I went there it must have been two or three herds of them all close together. I didn't even see any Burrowers there either.

i wish they added an option to make arenas for battles like in jedi fallen order, i would love to see an army of clawstriders vs 2 thunderjaws
@Luna that would be cool, I'm hoping they add that in the DLC and maybe a Valor Surge that let's use override multiple machines at once

I don’t have any slither fangs in my game, is this a glitch or did they remove slither fangs for easy mode?
@Gamer Boi Slitherfangs should be on any difficulty, you might have to get to a certain point in the story maybe, but if you've already finished the game then I haven't a clue
I have it on easy mode and yes there are a few you have to kill on the main story

@@razaahmed9241 the difficulty for this video was set to normal, it's the outfit that increases machine damage and health + the Slitherfang is weak to fire
