is it just me or is this an engineer of the CNC rig making a desk. totally feels like an infomercial. so many odd choices and missed opportunities in joinery and compound angles and tapers he could have pushed his rig to do. and no effort to set the bowties flush ( can't call that a butterfly ; its just a chisel, it won't bite you.) sorry i guess.
Unfortunately, there are no Russian leehyun machine users yet. All overseas export plans are suspended due to Corona 19... Currently, leehyun machine is only available in Korea.....

Is it a carpenter who must be hand-carved, polished, and carefully crafted one by one? The use of a machine does not mean that such devotion is missing. i think carpenters should also change in line with the developing times. The machine in the video is a machine that we developed ourselves to work more safely and efficiently. We always try to not forget the carpenter's sensitivity and devotion. @@roydl8536 Roy, i saw the video and read the comments as i am also interested as to how others perceive the exhibited work. I would like to believe that your comment was not meant to be insultive per se, though i find it a bit aggresive and definetely disrepectful. Is it actually the tools that make a craftsman or the pure skills of one who creates beautiful and elegant furniture only with teaditional tools? I actually enjoy more to see carpenters create using the minimum amount or not at all electrical tools. Yet, even the old tools remain tools in essence and many of them have been altered or new ones to complement them, have been created over time. In this video we see a master craftsman use a tool he has developed which he and not a computer controls. This is a skill only few posses. The tool itself is as good as the hands (skills) of the man who handles it. I dont mean to generalize but i have seen hundrends of videos of craftsmen. Eventhough there are many exceptional carpenters all over the world i think there only few who can handle and work with wood as maticoulously, with incredible precision and attention to detail, beautifully, intricately yet simply, masterfully and eye pleasing. The great majority of them just happen to be Japanese. I am covinced that this man can easily reproduce the same table using the noumerous amazing and traditional Japanese wood working tools making all the joints of course without any nail/screw. I hope after you watch many similar videos agree with this opinion and subsequently respond to this man as you seem deem appropriate.
