Impressive work, love the fact that other then that CNC he's using all big box store tools/machinery. kinda smilled when i saw that dewalt portable saw/ dewalt tabletop planer.

What an interesting way to work. I've never seen a setup quite like it. Like the chair too, but I wonder what keeps the legs attached to the seat long term? Are there barbs or threads on the big brass dowels?
There are dowel holes on the both side.

What type of router setup is that called? It’s like a CNC machine, using some form of computing , router but has manual function? Does anyone know?
Hello, I read your email well. First of all, thank you for your interest in our woodro leehyun and leehyun machine.
However, leehyun machine is a completely different machine from CNC machine.
x,y,z is basically a 3-axis machine, and the z-axis moves with a simple input from the control box.
And the x,y axis is a manual operation method using a jig.
You can express the shape you want using hundreds of jigs.
Therefore, there is no need to learn a computer :)

No. The chair is uncomfortable and ignores hundreds of years of chair design by humble craftsmen who NEVER put their name on a fucking piece of furniture. I spent four WEEKS designing my own original chair. No lumbar support? No compound curves to the back? This chair is all for show.

순수한 목수라는 의미가 뭔지 궁금하네요.
가구의 가격은 재료와 작업자가 쏟는 시간으로 결정되는 것인데
우리나라 가구의 디자인이 어떤가요? 천편일률입니다. 특이하거나 새로울경우에는 가격이 아주 높게 책정되죠
하지만 기계를 사용하면 작업자의 시간이 줄어들고 가격이 낮아지고 그 시간과 편의성만큼 디자인이 다양해질 수 있지 않나요?
구매자의 눈높이를 맞추는건 크게 중요치 않다고 생각합니다.
하지만 퀄리티를 높이면서도 작업자의 시간을 줄이는 방식은 구매자의 눈높이를 끌어올릴 수 있는 방법이지 않을까합니다. 그래서 중요합니다.
가구를 보는 사람들은 과정을 생각하지 않아요. 눈에 보이는 그대로, 사용하는 느낌 그 자체에 가구의 가치를 판단합니다.
많은 사람이 접할 수 있게 만들어야 가구의 가치가 높아지는 것이죠.
과거의 가치가 앞으로도 유지되길바라는 마음은 언젠가 토대되기마련이죠. 지금이 그 시점이지 않을까싶네요.
