My favorite place along the Atlantic. Love the Dunes w/the dogs. Excellent vid. I had no idea there was so much history in NSB. Note: Non NSB residents can get a 12 month parking pass for $20 for the Dunes. I go for the dog beach.
We vacationed for 20 years with my kids in Daytona. There used to be a restaurant called Skyline in New Smyrna beach. All you could eat lobster 🦞 served several ways or whole for $20 a person!!
Wow I didn’t know there was a Bob Ross Art Shop and Gallery. I will definitely visit. Are there also any workshops for painting?😊 How much does a class for teaching cost?
Just booked Black Dolphin Inn on way to see family in Miami. Thank you for this wonderful video to help see a few things in route. Only have 2 nights there but information is most helpful.
Agree. Loved Little Drug Co. We looked in the windows and a new place called Little Griddle on Canal is supposed to open there later this month. Same type of diner food/ice cream and it looks like they’re keeping the old counters.
Been here 50 years. No longer a small town, not much charm left with all the condos and mega developments for those fleeing big cities. Ironic. Population here now pushing 80K
I used to surf here as a teenager in the early 80s. We used to wait outside at 7-Eleven so somebody could buy us beer. was about 15 of us. Living in a creeky big house trailer on a sand road. Went back there about six years ago. The road is paved and their houses is there now. Of course things change. But I’m glad I still have that memory. We had parties every night. Even knew the cops name by first name basis.
Wish i knew when i was a kid that new symrna was the shark attack capital of the world..pebble beach not good. loved titusville beach .daytona too busy sand too hard deep water too far out.
I am shocked to hear that NSB is the shark bite capital of the world which means to me I have chosen my own destiny to decease as a victim of a shark by moving to this town. May God help us from being a food for one of them. Not an ideal place to rest in peace.
Our home town! Thanks for presenting it well! Suggestion for future guide - bike trails in Central Fla?

Don't tell them! Parking is already tricky there on weekends 😅
I will ask my sister to drive us to the beach to spend the night there, must be so exciting to sleep with real splashing of the waves!!!
Thank you
Your videos are the best quality and informative
Glad you like them!

Thank you for introducing great ideas for what to do.
Another great informative video. Thank you Chad. Can’t wait for our trip on the 26th. Hope we have time to come to all these wonderful places. 🌴
I’m glad you didn’t tell everyone about “treats on the beach” , would hate for it to get more crowded ;-) love NSB!!!

A must see after watching your video.

Thank you Melaine! Have a good trip!!
I like to get donuts in Deland. Thanks for the vid!
Beautiful video!
Thank you for watching!
we miss Easy Street Restaurant on Flagler Ave and Lunar Arcade across from The Breakers...
To bad the pharmacy on Canal Street closed. They had a good ole fashion counter type dinner. Served a good lunch.

Check out Zephyrhills Florida someday!
We haven't been to this town yet but it is on our list! Where is a good place to stay that you can walk to a lot of shops and bars?
My mom lives in NSB… a lot of context.
Is there a possibility to visit the Kennedy Space Center? What sort of public activities are there?
I have several videos on my channel detailing what there is to see and do at KSC, including the newest exhibit building and ride.
The nude beach is always a favorite stop there

I always went here to surf. Now, sadly, it’s just a college over populated beach unless you have a private entrance, it’s not worth it anymore.
