My favorite place along the Atlantic. Love the Dunes w/the dogs. Excellent vid. I had no idea there was so much history in NSB.
Note: Non NSB residents can get a 12 month parking pass for $20 for the Dunes. I go for the dog beach.

We vacationed for 20 years with my kids in Daytona. There used to be a restaurant called Skyline in New Smyrna beach. All you could eat lobster 🦞 served several ways or whole for $20 a person!!

Wow I didn’t know there was a Bob Ross Art Shop and Gallery. I will definitely visit. Are there also any workshops for painting?😊 How much does a class for teaching cost?

To bad the pharmacy on Canal Street closed. They had a good ole fashion counter type dinner. Served a good lunch.

Agree. Loved Little Drug Co. We looked in the windows and a new place called Little Griddle on Canal is supposed to open there later this month. Same type of diner food/ice cream and it looks like they’re keeping the old counters.

We haven't been to this town yet but it is on our list! Where is a good place to stay that you can walk to a lot of shops and bars?

Been here 50 years. No longer a small town, not much charm left with all the condos and mega developments for those fleeing big cities. Ironic. Population here now pushing 80K

I always went here to surf. Now, sadly, it’s just a college over populated beach unless you have a private entrance, it’s not worth it anymore.

I used to surf here as a teenager in the early 80s. We used to wait outside at 7-Eleven so somebody could buy us beer. was about 15 of us. Living in a creeky big house trailer on a sand road. Went back there about six years ago. The road is paved and their houses is there now. Of course things change. But I’m glad I still have that memory. We had parties every night. Even knew the cops name by first name basis.

I am shocked to hear that NSB is the shark bite capital of the world which means to me I have chosen my own destiny to decease as a victim of a shark by moving to this town. May God help us from being a food for one of them. Not an ideal place to rest in peace.
