The bar on Flagler with the Tiki thatched roof burned down this Spring. As for cars on the beach, they don't make noise as the speed limit is 10 MPH. The law also says windows must be down and radios very low ( in case someone needs you to hear them)
It is definitely a different experience! It wouldn't be my favorite for daily beach trips, but it's really fun to change it up for something different. 😊
well seeing as how you can't go above 10mph, no ones car is on unless your driving to your spot, and unless its high tide everyone is at a minimum 100ft+ away from where you drive so you'd be incorrect! nice try though. not a very accurate comment though due to no personal experience. thanks.
@@CB-rv2lj What's with the personal insult? Where'd you get the idea that I've ever even been there? I thought that you'd hear cars because of the cars going by in this video. You apparently didn't watch it.
@@lorichet personal insult? none was stated, you're imagining things. it is in fact not accurate and you don't have personal experience. so do tell us all where the insult was.
@@lorichet uhhh I've been on this beach for 30 years hahaha. Cars aren't even close to being louder than the ocean and wind constantly going, with everyones tents flapping in the wind, kids screaming and playing, and portable speakers people bring. You obviously don't go to this beach (or any it seems if you think you'd only hear the beach at a super touristy area) as often as me and thats fine. Your thoughts are just wrong and inaccurate about cars on the beach due to your lack of experience here.
if yall keep promoting NSB it is insanity. I've lived + worked here since the early 70's, and promoting this place has destroyed it already. Please STOP already. What is wrong with you??? My wife is a 5th generation Daytona Beach native and she no longer can understand all the groups and people promoting our home like this. It keeps growing us to a 100K city in a small area. Stupid
Thank you for the great overview and video. I look forward to visiting.
Earlier this week when we were in Daytona we took a visit down to New Smyrna Bch and Flagler ave. Great area with lots to do and see.
Be down there the end of October, we love NSB
Thank you for visiting!!! If you ever want to own or rent give us a call! ❤️
Try JBs Fish Camp, Clancy’s Cantina, & music at the Flagler Tavern
Canal st is beautiful for sure.
Great insight!

I saw that and was so sad to hear it
Did no one else notice around 4:01 the homeless guy barged on the window
I'm an Iowa native too. Planning a move soon!
You will love it!
@@SuiteLifeSanburg where are you in the beginning of the video with all the plants, trail and sign that says “look up”?
Florida is full. Especially nsb
Being on a beach while listening to car engines all day doesn't sound appealing to me. Informative video. Thanks.

Florida east coast is packed, overcrowded now. Please no more! Looking like Orlando! Used to be alot of nice small beach towns, not anymore
Lost me at "sharks"
I lived in NSB 10 years it's The Shark Capital of the World many shark attacks happen here .
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good nightlife.❤🫡❤
