Maybe a little bit like Fortnite Save the World? When players join your homebases, they can help you fight the battles, but they cannot alter your builds unless you grant them building permissions. That would be pretty cool.

I think they should open portals that go to shared worlds.
These shards last some X time with goals that you can work to.
You can bring resources back home, and you get a bonus of something when you complete the main goals.
Maybe shard life could be extended by quests too, for those who want to keep that instance alive for a long time.
I don't think PvP is great in Lego Fortnite. That is just because the combat system is too simple and it is more about equipment, not skill.
Rather there can be competition around achieving goals/tasks or having players gathered in teams where each team is trying to complete a huge goal.

I play with three friends on our OG world but we all have our own bases. We shared a lot in the beginning but now have our own stuff. I’m the only one that has played expert so far. Not sure if I’d want to play with random people. But if it’s a mode like rust I think certain people would love it. It would probably bring in new players that like the challenge.

Having servers would be an absolute dream. I think the maps would have to be a little bigger to accommodate more players. Would be a great experience. They would also need to do away with build limits and game memory.

I would like them to move in-game music to a new channel in settings.
I love your idea of the village borders being a "safe zone" for a multiplayer server. Having small servers does keep drama and griefing to a minimum. So have multiple sizes?
They have already implemented tree resources respawning. Maby have crystals grow back over time? Small ones give less. This would encourage people to explore new parts of the map.
Knot root can grow back slowly, or by using a special fertilizer mad from the composter you could spread it around a cave to encourage root growth?

      not all trees, but yes.
Music should be moved to the "Music" track for LEGO Fortnite yes.

Personally for me I love how Lego Fortnite it is by now, it’s very fun to build up the villages and go look for materials with all the adventures you get on the side.
However, when you’ve upgraded a village or a couple (at least in the three different biomes) up to level 10 the games gets pretty dull I’ll admit, is not much more to do other than keep stacking up in materials, because we can’t even build massive villages due to the “low memory issue” Or we can just try to find epic villagers throughout the map, something that takes hours and can get pretty boring with slow movement also, so I’ve gotten stuck in my normal survival world and started an expert just for the challenge.

But there is no great multiplayer.

If you could make multiplayer where other players could not destroy builda in YOUR city and you could craft locks for chests and Doors. That would be a great addition

@@DanglishGames not great multiplayer like Rust no, but I feel like even tho both games have the word “survival” in it as a main focus Lego feels more like a game to have fun other than to go to war 😝 idk it might be just my bias. But I don’t hate the idea of the locks and security for your village so others cannot destroy or do as they please in your village without holding a key for example
