- the second installment of a 3-part piece I composed for @Next_Fest - this one is titled "run steadfast towards the unknown" and I hope it fills your heart with a sense of wonder and adventure. Final one will be coming next friday!
Because we are doing this DIY, we are holding a gofundme to help turn this performance into a studio-quality recording: gofund.me/6ec8169c
Please contribute if you'd like to help pay 19 string players to make this dream recording a reality! We reached our 10k initial goal but we'd love to be able to pay everyone a little more Видеоклипы
There was a time when I watched intently amazed by your technical skills. Now I close my eyes and let you take me into the “unknown”. Thanks Yvette!
beautifully said.
@@marshalljames2361 To me it sounds more like hope tenderness and a wild ride and then an arrival
How blessed are we to have such beautiful art in the world
Ive never heard guitar played like that for an orchestra. Normally you think it'll be metal, and I like metal, but this was something else. Beautiful. Ethereal. The sound of your guitar has here is incredible, but the way you play it is just magic. I play too, but I wish I only had a little of your skill. Ive watched a lot of your videos and they give me both dispair for my lack of talent and joy that somebody can inspire me to try again. Im going out and fixing my Gretsch as soon as I can budget it.
this sounds like an adventure beginning in an idyllic pastoral forest and continuing up a mountain... simply wonderful!!
This sounds incredibly pretty. It feels like it would fit a modern indie game. Can't wait to hear more!
I really like the balance, when the soloist part doesn't just stick out and its all mixed in and whatnot even with some crazy distortion and rotary pedal stuff it still mixes really well 👈👈🤖
Needed this at 1:30 am this is amazing
I’m imagining the sheet music for the guitar part and hoping the composer notes say something like “with crunch” or “dizzily” to denote the effects used at different sections
I never thought I would see a string ensemble paired with Yvette's command over the electric guitar but this is beyond beautiful. ❤
The approach, tone, and arrangement on these is just so lovely.
Thank you for filling my life with so much amazing music Yvette. I am so happy for all you continue to accomplish.
Yeah this is the best thing ever made
Feeling a joyous soaring into the infinite. These pieces are just gorgeous. Looking forward to part iii!
This is beautiful. Donated!

Give this awesome guitar player that number one spot, that was beautiful. Also awesome dress.
This is an amazing composition. Great work. Parts of this make me feel like weeping in the best kind of way.
Yvette is my favorite guitarist
Run steadfast towards the unknown, it's the process of integrating the shadow, that leads to joy 🕊🎻🎸
I love how the guitar and stringed instruments complement each other

I need to hear someone like Tade sing on this
This is so pleasing upon the first listen, but I know that so much more will be uncovered with each subsequent listen. Perfect balance of accessibility and depth.
Beautiful... That's all I have to say to describe this.

I love it! A beautiful composition, and a healthy balance between the guitar and the classical strings.
