Is it neccesarry to have an down throusers? I wil go to Mera Peak this Year at the End of October. I also buyed a 330g 800cuin Down Jacket.... is this to warm for the Summit Day while climbing the peak?
Check this out in terms of down jacket info: ruclips.net/video/fWtfNepJ_24/видео.html I always wear my Rab Positron Pro on Mera. The correct layering is key. It also depends on the day, month and best to be prepared for everything. I have never used down pants on Mera. We send an itemized kit list on signing up.
I have a question according the boots. At the moment I have the LA Sportiva Olympus mons evo, because I needed them for Mt Vinson... Can I also take them with me to Mera Peak? Because I don't want to buy an extra pair of boots just for 6000 m peaks...

I read your website and impressed. Have you tried Mera Peak in Winter?
Thanks, we have climbed Mera in winter but much better to climb with groups in the better weather months.

No crampons?
Crampons are needed. We include all the technical gear on all our trips.
Why not to put all the luggage in the backpack?
