What is "really hot?" That means very different things to someone from near death valley versus someone who lives in Florida, versus someone who lives in the UK.

When we say “really hot”, we don't refer to people living in extreme temperatures. We mean “hot” as a temperature in which the body is not in its comfort zone, knowing that every person has a different window of cold/heat tolerance. We speak in generals, not specifics.

Current wind is 75 MPH and -2°F temperature, which equates to -40°F. What is the maximum wind and temperature that you will attempt a summit push?

Low temperature is an unavoidable part of Summit day. When we leave Camp Cholera early in the morning, we are always in a range of cold going from -25 to -35 Celsius, generally speaking. It’s a very cold day, especially when we start walking. Regarding wind, we can attempt going up with winds up to 40 or even 50 kilometers per hour. But, if you have a group of climbers used to climbing on extreme conditions, you can stretch it to 60 kilometers per hour. Anyway, those factors vary drastically and each group is its own world, and we never go up if weather is too challenging. Safety is always first, in every condition or situation.

Hello Federico. I read that many professionals recommend La Sportiva double boots, are they reliable?

Yes, they are. Super reliable, strong, and, above all else, comfortable. It's a great pick.
