Did this summit in 2013. Absolutely life changing. Taught me about myself, about other humans, cultures. Wish i could share some pics but on summit day it was the clearest day in months. Could see 7 of the 9 highest peaks in the world. Sunrise is incredible. But dont think its super easy, only 2 of us made it out of 9 due to frostbite and altitude sickness. Eat as much as you can every chance you get. Get to know your sherpas and the kitchen team they are the real heroes. Learn some of their language, create bonds
What a brilliant video ! I did the summit in 2021 July and watching this brought tears of Joy to my eyes !! - I still can’t believe I touched the peak ❤️ Thank you for this wonderful capture !!
Very inspiring. I see lot of people going to Everest very unprepared. If I'm going to grocery store I check kitchen and prepare list of things needed and then go there, get it. Some people are trekking to highest altitude land on earth (EBC and ABC) and absolutely unprepared with fitness, and high altitude sickness and literally complaining entire way. I see you had very good luck with the weather, but your groups fitness looks perfect and always smiling and chilling.
Hi there! Yes preparation is key when it comes to high altitude expeditions. Our Mera Peak group got fantastic weather and were well prepared for the climb!

Thank you for your comment! We run expeditions to Mera Peak during October. Temperatures on the expedition may vary from 0 to 30 degrees during the day and -30 to 10 degrees at night. It’s best to be prepared for lower temperatures due to wind chill or the weather turning bad. Usually the days are hot and the nights are cold. You should be ready for inclement weather at all times as the weather can change rather quickly at high altitude. Hi there! Having previous experience at altitude is an advantage but we would suggest consulting your GP before booking any expedition and following their advice.

Thx
