- A Vacaville police officer was struck by a car while conducting a traffic stop Thursday and died in the line of duty, the department said.
Officer Matthew Bowen, 32, had been with this department for only 13 months, after transferring from Concord police, where he spent the previous 3.5 years.

I wonder why he left the Concord PD? Probably did worse things than the people he arrested.
When I was younger, I had a friend who married an Oakland cop, and saw that toxic world up close. They kept trying to set me up with single cops, and I finally had to distance myself from these people.
As a person who has seen many car and motorcycle accidents, and seen my friends die right in front of me on motorcycles, looking at that bike all torn apart, that officer was torn apart as well. Legs tend to get caught up on handlebars and usually the leg will give way at the knee or hip, it’s not pretty…

I seen a motorcycle accident once. The guys shoe flew off after the crash. He seemed ok so I rushed over to give him his shoe and his foot was still in it 💯 Please don’t ride motorcycles kids. Rest In Peace Matthew 🙏🏾

@@user-sx1gz2vr1k At least 50% of all male law enforcement officers in this country have been investigated for 'Domestic Abuse' (aka Pummeling their own wives, children, mothers, etc). That's a 500% higher rate than the public at large! Here he was "policing for profit" (aka Armed robbery).
Even though I don’t like police uniforms, I send my condolences to the family.
