The Blue Beetle sported a bow tie (as part of his costume) in Mystery Men #1. If I remember correctly, the bow tie was dropped in issue #2. Congrats on the acquisition.
There are also a lot of parallels with the GA Blue Beetle and the Sandman. Dan Garrett initially had no powers. He was a true mystery man, who used weapons like gas grenades. Truly a badass! 😎💙🪲
