Crazy list! I am also a big fan of the Golden Age Captain Marvel books. I think the covers are amazing. I am only now starting to collect them so let's see how high up i can reach :)

i have the 1944 wonder comics # 1 but i am like you i would love the fox 1939 wonder comics # 1 that would be a dream book for me you got good taste
I also like the 1944 Wonder Comics #1 cover. The 1939 series is tough, tough, tough. Hopefully, one of us can track down a copy!

That is an impressive list. I only remember one copy of Detective #1 offered for sale in my twenty-five years on eBay. That copy was incomplete. (There might have been other copies I did not know about.) More Fun #52 has a value that surpasses its importance, but it is still a mega acquisition. Good luck with fulfilling your goals of obtaining those rare and costly books. If you own just one of them, you have major bragging rights. IMO!

Would you buy a 0.5 that is missing only the back cover? Also, I think I would make an exception for restored books if it was an Action 1 or Detective comics 27 😀
Hello. Of the books on my list, I think I’d be open to an incomplete of More Fun 52. All-American 16, Whiz 2(1), and Detective 1. These books are so rare and expensive, I’d take the 0.5. Restored? Hmmm 🤔 It would have to be a low grade copy with minor restoration, but even then…

The Detective 1 is as rare as they come. That’s one of the few books I’d consider an incomplete copy. 😎
@DragonInkComics oh yes definitely take what you can get on that book. That's how I got my amazing fantasy 15. One missing page made it affordable and I ended up finding the page later on anyway.
