- #Pfingsten heuer einmal anders: Wiener Stephansdom als Schauplatz einer künstlerischen Begegnung zwischen Rap, Ballett und Orgelmusik. Ein christlicher Rapper, eine Primaballerina, ein Solotänzer und der Domorganist treffen in der Mitte des Stephansdoms aufeinander. In ihren jeweiligen Genres interpretieren sie die Botschaft des Pfingstfests. Durch ihre musikalisch-künstlerische #Begegnung zeigen sie, wie vielfältig Kirche ist.

Ja, es war mutig diese drei total verschiedenen Genre zu vereinen.
Ich denke, dass es besonders den jungen Menschen gefällt und vielleicht öffnet es diesem oder jenem den Weg zum Glauben.

This is how you get people to believe in God and the church itself because they should be there for all people. No matter if you are black or white, uneducated or educated etc.
It also doesn’t matter who you love.

Die Orgel Kulisse zeigt wie tief kommen greifen direkt in Herz . Und die Choreografie von besten Tänzerin ist ist genau das , was ich sehen wollen von einen FRAU die ich Liebe . Sehr erregend und wirksam . Danken an allen . Tolles Du

Ein fantastisches, inspiriendes Projekt! Gerne mehr davon! Wer sich hier entrüstet zeigt, ist doch nur Teil des Problems, wenn es mit Kirche nicht voran geht. Es ist nun wirklich nichts verwerfliches an der Performance zu finden. Frohe Pfingsten!
Kraftvoll, lebendig und von berührender Präsenz. In der Anmut der Tänzerin wird ruah erlebbar, der Geist Gottes, der im Alten Testament weiblich ist. Moderne Beats und ehrwürdiger Orgelklang - phantastisch, wie das zusammen geht. Hier weht nicht nur ein Heiliger Geist, sondern auch ein offener - ich gratuliere zur mutigen Performance!
Spannend über den weiblichen Geist im alten Testament mehr zu erfahren. Jeder Hinweis wird danbkabr angenommen

Die Orgelmusik gefällt mir gut, die beiden Tänzer auch und der Dom sowieso, die große Wiener Domorgel ist ein Traum, nur der Mann im Unterleiberl nervt ein wenig.
Frau Faber ist eine gute Lehrerin 🥸🍆
In several baroque churches in my country, there are small side rooms depicting a hell. In Stephansdom, as it is a gothic building, there is no such architectonical element. But I think there was really no need to add the hell to the Stephansdom in this way. Only a person without proper education and understanding of music may like and approve this "project" - it is just a result on an ignorance. Maybe they may hear and they may like (if they are ignorant and simple enough) - but they have no idea what is the musical content of what they are listening to and what it causes in their head.
To any christian dealing with a music related to the faith in any way: PLEASE, PLEASE, GET SOME PROPER EDUCATION!!!! Even the first chapter of Hindemith's Komponist in seiner Welt (10 pages or so) - if you don't intend to spend much time - explains very clearly that an entertainment music style can't be, without any exception, used for a different purpose than an entertainment. It is like an attemt to build a house with tools designed for the destruction. It doesn't matter if the audience (or the performer) understands or not, the effect is the same. For someone who understands (really understands) the music as if it were a language (or since it IS a language), it is obvious. And.. one would wish that it was only that little bad that some stupid entertaining music was used in this project. No it's worse. If you don't understand, go and study - there's nothing more to say.
To amass Knowledge and to harden their heart was signs of the Philisters that Jesus called out. Your unhappyness, seeing evil everywhere is the real evil there is. You are made in his image so you have the power of creation in you. You judge something as sinful means Jesus has died for nothing. Open your heart so God's love can shine in.
God has made us to be like children, naive, pure of heart. We can return to that state to be part of paradise. But it is our choice. As long as we throw stones and close our heart we cannot be with our father who created us in his image: full of love, and since he sent Jesus to die for our sins: void of any judgment that we may understand (and therefore judge ourselves). So when we do not forgive but judge here we bereft the lord himself of his judgment, we think we can know the unknowable and that is really going against God.
Drop your judgment, bend to his will (you shalt be like children) and open your heart to receive the beauty and perfection of creation.
