A few years ago, a Metacritic based version of this video was published - and the response was ...mixed. Metacritic lists tend to have a few quirks - and it was apparently very triggering to Pokemon fans. Instead, the games presented in this video are based off researching various "best-of" lists from around the internet (e.g. Nintendo Life, Games Radar, RetroDodo, etc) and a few fan forums.
The games are shown in ALPHABETICAL ORDER, and multiple "versions" of the same game have been collapsed into a single entry. This should appease all the lunatic Pokemon fans who were sending me legit death threats because apparently "POKEMON EMERALD SHOULD BE NUMBER 1!!1!1!!"

Speaking of fun, so many fun games in this video ... GBA is almost unbeatable as a handheld, especially for fans of platformers and JRPGs ... I'll still be playing GBA games when I'm old and grey...

1,539 total GBA titles released for all regions... the N64 did not have that many games. 😮 Honestly I am surprised; the DS got some love too , although I don't recall how many titles were released for all regions.

Really surprised no yugioh games on the list, yugioh was at its height of popularity during the gba era and pretty much all the games are good. Also how can a mediocre fighting game like digimon battle spirit be in the top 100, but good fighting games like Guilty gear X advance, mobile suit Gundam seed battle assault, Mortal Kombat deadly alliance and tournament edition, King of fighter’s Ex and EX2, Street fighter alpha 3 and Tekken advance not be there?
