  • I was contacted by PRT with regard to reviewing this Qutie rechargeable label printer and, as I am in the middle of sorting and tidying my craft room, it seemed like I might find the label printer useful... however, while I was unboxing it and playing with it... I had a brainwave!

I use my Dymo with coloured tape dupes so I can colour coordinate and print them out and cut them up just like you said. Some symbols I haven’t got, but I look for the closest thing and amend it with a sharpie. For example the reverse arrow: print the normal arrow and add the extra. x

Yes, I borrowed a Dymo from work that had a fixed keyboard, so could do some of the symbols. 🥰

What this label maker has taught me is that I’m very satisfied with my little poky one with an alphabet wheel and a one letter at a time trigger😂😂 thanks for the review!

Ohhh the old skool Dymo! I used to have one of those! I must have used it too much as some of the letters popped off 🤣

Oooo!! I do love a label maker. There’s something about putting a label on “stuffs” 🤪😅 Thank you for reviewing and sharing this dinky, wee thing 👍

Haha me too! I used to have one that I "borrowed" from work before the pandemic... and it stayed in my possession for 3 years, only had to return it recently, so this dinky little thing is perfect!

Ooooh, I need one of these for my DP pots too. When I kit up I use 2 sets of 60 pots (I put 1 set into the lid of the case)
Say I've got 6 bags of 310, I fill 1 pot and use the DP label with the symbol on then fill another 8 pots (2 bags = 3 pots) and just put a sticker on with the DMC code on it. When I've used up a pot I just swap the lid onto the next pot so always have a pot with the original label on (wrote all that then realised that it seems a waste of time to properly label the pots lol)
I would use it to label my trays though😆, I used to write on them with a sharpie but get fed up of cleaning them when kitting down. Only yesterday I started using my Dymo but I still have to draw the symbol on, and I'm poo at that, hence having the DMC code on too lol. x

I was with you all through that, made sense! I am also poo at drawing the symbols (no idea how a x can look like a ÷ but it does in my handwriting!) so when I realised that you can print any symbol (and you can almost hear my brain click in the video 😆) I knew that was going to be its primary function 😅
