Bro, are you kidding me, you're about to experience your first surgery. I've been following your study videos for while, and this is so wild how are far you have come to now in a real live surgery. Omg, all the hard work. I'm an accounting major but thanks to your tips I've been able to get an internship this summer, I'll be working in a real live accounting firm so I get it bro. Its awesome and exciting lol.

I actually watch all the surgeries that I have done on me on RUclips because I want to know exactly each step that’s going to be done on me. My husband doesn’t know how I can watch it but I find it fascinating. The best one was the double jaw surgery.

Hey! My name is Hailey. I am graduating high school this year in like two weeks. I am planning on going to Daytona state for a year then transferring to University of Florida to finish pre med and all the classes that i need. Would you have any recommendations for classes needed, extracurriculars and just tips in general. I have wanted to be a surgeon for a while and everyone tells me to hand more realistic expectations for my life but if i really want something i will find a way to get it and this is something i really want! I was also wondering what med school do you go to?

I actually just had one of my worst ulcerative colitis flare ups that had me on the front door of septic shock. Weird seeing this pop up less than two months later, and have it kick off with UC. Kinda neet.

Omg I would be so ticked if I was anticipating a lap procedure and they went open over an equipment issue (as a patient) lol. Awesome experience for learners though! Especially to say you converted to open for your first!
It happens all the time. They tell you before you go it that if the lap doesn't work they will have to cut. These are matters of life and death. You have to tell yourself you are happy to be alive, because without this surgery, you die. Been there, done that.
@@noeljohnson3918 It happens, but usually not because of equipment issues. I would not complain if they needed to go open out of anatomic necessity, etc. I just meant I'd be upset to learn that it was strictly related to machinery.
But why in the UK and USA do you go out on the street in an operating room uniform? at least with us they give us a place to change (and in the surgical area they are now disposable coveralls even those under gowns)

I hope you can tell me some motivational words about medicine I know it's worth it..but I really make a lot of effort but sometimes negative thoughts attack me but I get over them quickly..now I'm a bit tired..
But I love surgery so much ..I should never be lazy.. I am a strong person.. laziness is only for the weak .
