were there actually single edged versions of Zweihander great swords considering that there were single edged norse swords and single edged medieval arming swords which were call falchions
@@MichaelGThomas it's exactly the sort of thing Ive been looking for but was interested to hear your thoughts with extended use so thanks for letting me know. Sounds great. I'll either order a similar design with silk or commission something similar with kvetun in the future as they will probably factor in a degree of distal taper.
Now this is the training sword I've been looking for
Same. I love it so much I'm ordering a second!
I want one so bad, too bad they don’t ship to the states.
They do, but you have to contact them directly. Thats how I got my steel Montante. I got my synthetics through SoCal Swords.
How can I get one of these in the U.S?

Interesting. Not something I've seen. The large Swiss sabres were certainly single edged, though with a clipped back edge along the weak.
How sturdy they are? Especially for newbies in HEMA arts?
The whole Black Fencer synthetic range is incredibly durable, more so than pretty much everything else out there, steel or synth.
These things are like tanks. They very rarely break, with that only being an issue on some of the metal parts for the earlier sword models.
Wow.
What happened to the follow up review on the silk fencing lil sabre / dussack?

@@MichaelGThomas a video of sparring with this would be great :)
@@ballisticsquid It shall be done.
do you basically have to start with a synthetic if you're a beginner?
This depends where you train and which weapon type, but overall they are very good as beginner weapons.
How much extra did the size customisations cost?
Zero, nada, nothing!
Why don't you agree with anyone?
?
@@Tunkkis LOL, I have no idea...thinking a response posted to the wrong video??
