Mountaineer without the small secondary blade, and plus scales.

The pen and the pin are both placed in the scales manual so that is why there isn't many models with plus scales because it make the knives much more expensive and therefore harder to sell. just see the Compact it's 10 pound more than a Huntsman because there is 3 things that cost more on that, pen, pin, and nailfile on the hock.
Excellent information
I’ve carried a Compact for a few years now and it doesn’t show that mark in the blade, but in contrast, my Bantam has it and I frequently closed it with one hand, until one day that it literally closed “inverted” (the blade the opposite side of what it should be) and I realized that closing with one hand imparts some lateral force that is capable of a slight bending.
I don’t know, but it is just a thought. Just a maybe…
