    One of my favorite fights by Marvelous Marvin Hagler. And the late, great Keith Jackson giving the color commentary. RIP Champ.

    Back when you had a top 10 of world contenders and the division ran deep with talent. Hagler didn't duck anybody. THIS is the Hagler Ray Leonard didn't want to fight.

    MMH was so articulate.
    He commented a few times on British TV, and was great to listen to.
    No BS which is what we Brits like.
    RIP. MMH.

    Not sure who the commentator was. Didn't even mention that Hagler was a switch hitter, but mentioned Lee was? Smh.

    Marvin Hagler his professional debut only got paid $400 Sugar Ray Leonard his professional debut 40,000 I had it rough all the way from the beginning Joe Frazier told him one day you got three strikes against you your black you're a southpaw and you are good not everyone is going to step in the ring with you Hagler one of my all-time favorites

      Legendary nights. But I believe it was less than 400. I think it was $50

    Devastating Hagler... I don't think he missed any of his punches on Lee.

    Lee looked good for maybe 25 seconds & dang it seemed like the first right jab from Hagler wobbled him & it was all downhill from there

  • @aaronbst
    @aaronbst 3 месяца назад

    A right jab from Hagler was the key to the knockout? Lee had no business being there.

    This fight should never have happened; Lee was nobody and had no chance against Hagler. Just a promoter unwilling to take a loss on an event.

    What stands out is the K.O. of Marcos Geraldo, ( 55 seconds?!?!) Who only went the distance against Leonard and Hagler. When it came time to legitimize Hearns "middleweight power" who was the opponent? Right, Marcos Geraldo.
