I wanted a 335i after I saw Adams, so after many hours of searching I bought myself a 2007 335i coupe in montego blue. The best purchase I have ever made
NRA GH i love the montego blue. It took me months to find mine though. I had to have a manual with low miles. Drove across two states to get it. Well worth it though. I ended up finding coral red interior like adams as well but brushed aluminum trim and black paint.
Adam if you adjust your idle to 850-900rpm it will get rid of that single mass flywheel chatter! I had bad chatter with my single mass, I changed the idle and it barely makes any noise now. Just an fyi
Its the Through Out Bearing rattling... Motiv Recommends replacing the TwinDisc Through Out bearing with the OEM one and NOT the Billet one that the Spec sometimes comes with. The billet one rattles a lot more.
I never said it wasn't the twin disk clutch making that noise, but he has a single mass fly wheel which means the chatter is partially coming from the smfw, so adjusting the idle a little higher will get rid of at least part of the chatter.
This amount of power is too much for the track. Theres a reason you barely see 1000hp trackcars. Coming out of there corners itd be lag. Lag. Boost. And then sudden wheel spin which isnt optimal for track
Sometimes a pimp needs to make a pimp decision. Not driving this car without some better grip was the right decision. Get some more of that power to the road and then take it out.

Honestly a set of drag radials would be your best bet , the bimmer isn’t really set up for circuit or drift , straight line car , you would definitely won’t be disappointed
Glad to see this beaut is still in the collection. I think you should rein in the power back down to 500 and actually use it as your daily. So it’s actually getting used. As you’ve so many cars now and this is the car that started you. Change out the clutch for something easier. And use her. 500 is still good power. Maybe widebody her. As you’ve yet to build one.

Yup. Mine were so fucked up it would pull even when braking. I had the xi so no m3 control arm upgrade for me. That was a fun car when it worked. Good luck

I would like to see a comparison video between the shelby and the 335. I know they have completely different ideologies behind them (and one is modified) but they are different ways to go fast. (also a drag race between the two would be nice)

For those of you that don't know, the N54 platform cars are squirrelly as hell. The S15 is a purpose built race car, he'll be fine in that car no matter the power because of the chassis.
Use these crummy tires for an epic burnout. Never seen a real LZ burnout cause you actually like to drive instead🤘🏼 but this opportunity is perfect fry these tires at 30psi before the R888s go on
i'm driving semi-slicks from Toyo [R888R (265 size)] on my N54 single turbo, having no problems with traction when they're warm. Even at rain i can drive it with normal acceleration Nice video, keep up :)
Also a thought, get the alignment checked. Something could have easily slipped, or gotten bent in the shipping to and from Germany. Happens all the time with new cars, can’t hurt to check.

But that car will be used on track, with a full cage, buckets, harnesses, a helmet, and no innocent bystanders to kill. Plus it's a much lighter car with a shit ton of steering lock, so it can handle going mega sideways at speed.
It may be switching lanes if the rear toe is outward (too much negative rear toe). It could also cause the rear to drift in corners when turned the opposite direction of the rear tire with negative toe. (Oversteer)
Maybe going for lap times on road course or drag racing. If those things don't interest you then sell it and use the money for something you do enjoy. It is a little much to daily and you have plenty of drift cars.
