Small correction at 3:56 the quartic equation should read as x(3-x)(x^2+4x+4) I must have typed a 2x by accident! Sorry 😬 👑 Everything you Need to Pass your AS Pure Maths Exam! THANK YOU! I absolutely needed this for transformations.....my lecturer couldn't give me a method to memorize the principles...so THANK YOU VERY MUCH!🤩🤗
I had a question in the graph transformations the one which got reflected (partb) it's y coordinate is supposed to be 1 right and not 0 . I'm not getting it
You can think of y=f(-x) as the x is being multiplied by -1 so it still follows the trend of doing opposites as you just divide by -1 to the actual x value for the transformation 👍

nice! Loving the hard work!
I was almost passing out thinking why my brain ain't working send the math to my teacher 😭
@@antisocialbarbie1587exactly I thought it was over for my a levels
hey think you made a mistake on 5:46 you said (x+2)(x+2) = x^2+2x+4 it doesn't it is = to x^2+4x+4
Yh thought the same
I think he used this formula bro (a+b)^2 = a^2+2ab+b^2 so (x+2)^2 = x^2+4x+4
at 5:36 how is the solution of the quadratic x+2? if you would add the them coefficient of x would have had to be 4 not 2
True, that caused a lot of confusion for me
Wondering the same thing and now I'm left even more confused than when I started...
It was a mistake don’t worry
He explained it that the X coefficient should have been 4x instead of 2 but typed the time stamp wrong so there you go
You deserve happiness and success!!
Thank you 😁🙏🏼
what an excellent video thank you so much for making this i literally have a test on this topic tommorow. You're a life saver!
So glad to hear that! Best of luck with your test let me know how it goes 😁🙏🏼
could you do mechanics and statistics?thanks for the videos
Yes, please do that would be so helpful!!
Good summary of all things transforming graphs 🙂
Thanks! Tried my best to summarise it in a very short period of time 😁🙏🏼
THANK YOU! I absolutely needed this for transformations.....my lecturer couldn't give me a method to memorize the principles...so THANK YOU VERY MUCH!🤩🤗
I’m so glad to hear I could help! 😁🙏🏼
6:56, how do you know that this quartic is a positive or negative, like how do you determine tis shape?
whether or not the coefficient of the x value with the highest power is negative or not
anyone here for tommorrow's exam
How do we get the graph on the calc?
I had a question in the graph transformations the one which got reflected (partb) it's y coordinate is supposed to be 1 right and not 0 . I'm not getting it
the quadratic equation is wrongly factorised.....
Thanks for this video!! It was very well done. It will help a lot
Great Video Watching this before my a level maths exam tomoz
how was it
@@abdurrahmanusman5854 ended up getting an A but was 1 mark of an A* 😭
Thank you so much.
No problem at all 😁🙏🏼
4:35 how do we know its going to be a negative graph?
Because there is a negative X in the second bracket so when you times it all out you will have -x^4
ስማሺንግ! Smashing in my language!
Thanks Nathan! Appreciate it 😁🙏🏼
i was thinking more of a determinent tells us this and derivative tells us this sort of vid but its fine...mainly transformations
saved me in olevels and now in alevels too

you legend
Thank you!
5:58 your factorisation of the quadratic equation is wrong. The equation cannot be factorised cannot be factorised .
does f(-x) not mean reflection in the x axis but in the last question it was a reflection in the y axis and i'm soo confused???
at 04:36 why do we know it a negative graph
i don’t know how well i will explain this but
it has a positiv x at the start
and a postive x^2 in the second bracket
but in the first bracket the x is negative meaning that the x’s are negative so thta makes the graph negatuve
sorry if that wasn’t explained very well just let me know
At 24:54, the f(-x) is for reflection in y-axis. Similarly, it should have been -f(x) for x-axis. So yeah.
thats what he did?
Cheers dude
No problem at all! 😁🙏🏼
19:26 hey , how do we use the a level calc to see the graph ? My teacher talks about being able to see on a calculator but I don’t know what he’s onab
😭l appreciate you my g
Thank you 😁🙏🏼
at time 30:06 watch out for the subscribe button it gets colourfull border around it when he says dont forget to subscribe the channel
Hi at 3:45, why is only one point on the graph at x=3 if it's cubic n 3 solutions ?
2 of the solutions are the exact same value - which is 3 in this case 👍
I was just wondering for the first two, do you not need to add in the points of minimum and maximum, when would you know when to add them in?
Thank you soo much 💜
You’re welcome 😊
thank you. these videos are very helpful. 👍
11:13
Thank you mocks today😭
how delightful
THANK YOU 🤩
Great stuff
I appreciate these my guy
My actual dawg
Thanks 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great, fairly short video!!
