Your video are very important for the environment because you are teaching thousands of people to do the same as you do. At the end, this has a HUGE impact, think about it its pretty crazy. Tuck is also teaching us to be smart, loyal, opportunist, and how to manipulate humans with cuteness for organic food.
What a kind and encouraging comment, me and Tuck really appreciate you! We are doing the best we can to spread the message of growing some food at home, and Tuck is teaching me everyday and helps me to appreciate things more. I would be lost without the little boss. 🐕😁❤️
Visiting my son in Portland, Oregon. Met up at Cheryl's for lunch & had a salad with roasted purple cauliflower in it. Made me want to grow it. Thanks for the encouragement!
There's a video in his archives list somewhere, showing what his backyard looked like before he turned it into a food forest. There was one little circle garden that the previous owners had in the huge back yard of grass/lawn.
I have far less garden space than James does, but I have made the most of it! Suburban garden FTW. I've converted half of the backyard (so far) to garden. So worth it.
Gnome 10:42 by the birdies raised bed on the left. Dang I noticed someone beat me to it haha. Still a fun thing. Also we got our first pink lemonade blueberries this week and they are heavenly
James, those cabbage are as big as you, and you ain't a little guy! You give me so much encouragement for our garden. Thank you brother. 🤩🥰😍🥳😘💘❤️💜🧡💛💚💙 For the little boss!
So many wonderful things to comment on, it's just overwhelming! You and your garden make me keep dreaming, hoping, planning. I'm in a tiny space, but I could grow enough for me, and maybe some to share. Great video James! Have a great weekend and a safe holiday!
I'm really not able to garden right now because of my husband's health problems. But I discovered your videos and enjoy watching them. Your enthusiasm is contagious and helps me to dream and plan for a time when I will be able to garden again! ❤️
I too am in NJ, and I didn't know I could grow peach trees here! You inspire me so much. I have a decent sized backyard, with no trees. Just a blank canvas to start a nice garden. Thanks for sharing!
I appreciate you saying that this won't all happen in the first gardening season. You and Tuck have been building this garden for over a decade and it would be impractical to assume I can do all of this in my first season. I have so much to learn and really appreciate your willingness to share such useful information to get started. Many thanks to you and Tuck. Have a happy and safe July 4th!
I totally agree. I like to think of it as puttering through each year and every year adding one new thing. No pressure, just the joy of creating. As the years pass, the garden takes form and grows into something amazing, which James has accomplished. All Gardeners know that everything is a learning experience. Every year is different and outcomes as well. Most importantly, we all have a different palette to work with, so to speak, sun, shade, soil, climate, food preferences, and our own physical abilities to name few. No two gardens are ever alike, nor should they be. Just start from wherever you are, and see where you can "grow" Love and Gardening 💖💚
1st time I saw these clips, was on this channel. Ordered 2 bags (400cnt).. absolute game changer. Use them on the tomatoes, cucumbers, and training the sweet pumpkins to a trellis.
@jamesprigioni I've shown them to my neighbors and friends that grow.. they all had the same reaction..."how very cool and simple ".. they ask where I got them or where I saw them? I refer them to your channel and Amazon.
I love to watch you eat your fruits and vegetables! You have encouraged me to copy you and now i go out and nibble on a few carrots right in the garden. Love tuck and love your videos!
Even after 20 yrs of gardening and following your channel from your back to eden days 5-6 yrs ago I need to remember it all doesn't happen all over night. The garden evolves. I never used to have so many flowers, but now I love my annual flowers in my beds. And even now I learn that to avoid my plants being decimated by pests in the spring to get those cold hardy blooms in early. Lessons lessons ... the garden never ceases to teach.
We live in North Carolina and our weather/zone is similar. So many times I have had questions about my ‘food forest’ and find the answers on your channel. So, so many times. The enthusiasm you have for gardening, it is inspiring, gets me motivated. I love the intro to your videos and oh my goodness, Tuck is adorable. I truly appreciate you, the time you spend on videos, trial, error and the way you come across, it helps, tremendously. Sometimes I think it must be exhausting to put out so much content with such a great passion for the garden, but you have excelled every time. 😊
I always look forward to watching your videos! Watching from Victoria, Australia! Its winter here at the moment so I love watching your videos, it inspires me so much and gets me excited for the spring and summer growing seasons here! ❤
No way!!! You are way too kind and giving @LochvueFarm , me and Tuck make the videos for free, and you are one of the people who make it so we can keep making them! We can't thank you enough! 😁🐕❤️
You're so good at just getting me going. Morning energy for gardening is a slow acceleration 😊. Also, I have learned a great deal from you, starting a food forest from bare lawn. Though I'd truly underestimated how depleted my little patch was. It’s very useful to see the extent that such effort can reach. You're a good guy. I wish you were one of my sons 😊.
Mine was depleted clay as well. But wow the earthworms after I got a load of chip drop! Just be sure you start with wide sheets of cardboard or contractor's paper underneath first. Overlap the sheets by at least 4"
My mouth waters as you took bites of those fruits. I’m envious but very happy for you and tuck! I do appreciate the education I get from watching you. My mind cannot wrap around the size of your plants. Your enthusiasm and excitement is very encouraging. Thanks for sharing your garden.
James I am always stoked to see a new video posted! I love seeing what you are growing and the joy it brings you and Tuck. I never thought I’d say this, but I am super excited to start learning to grow cabbage. The gorgeous purple cabbage, and the absolute giant cabbage officially won over my interest. Thank you for posting wholesome content.
Dude, your garden, your vids, and Tuck (duh!) are absolutlely awesome! Your hint on removing suckers has sped up growing and fruiting in my patch SO much! Plus, NEVER knew cabbages had a ginormous basket of leaves! Thanks!
Hi James, I am a newish gardener from North Texas. I just started gardening about three years ago. I have learned so much about how to garden here in hot Texas. And this year my garden has blown me away with the amount of delicious food I've been harvesting and preserving. But my husband and I have recently started thinking about re-locating to Pennsylvania to be closer to our daughter who lives in NYC. I am so excited about moving, but the one big thing I will miss is my garden that I have worked so hard to establish. Watching your channel and seeing how much success you've had in New Jersey is giving me hope for relocating to Pennsylvania. I think the growing zones are the same or similar. So thanks for all the encouragement you give us and for all you do!
I am always amazed at all the vegetables and fruit you grow they are beautiful, and so healthy and fresh looking. You and Tuck are so blessed. I love Tuck. If you ever decide to get rid of him I will take him.
James I love watching your Joy . I feel the exact same way when I walk around my burgeoning food forest. I started last year but my heart also lifts when I step out into the promise of abundance. I can't wait to share this wealth. You inspire us and represent gardening as it is: hard work but endlessly rewarding. For both physical AND mental health. You are Da Bomb - and so's da Little Boss 😊 Thank you!
I enjoyed watching you enjoying the garden thank you I have a big yard and would love one day to make it a beautiful place to enjoy all of God’s goodness 🙏🏿
Your excitement makes me want to plant so much more! My garden is 9' x 24', try to plant a good mix of veggies & herbs. Thinking of expanding into the rest of the yard, not sure how to go about that. Your fruit trees are great! Will look at your videos on pruning new trees for max fruiting on dwarf trees.
Since the gardening season is about over this year, I’m starting with an indoor herb garden and things you can plant in September. Tuck can help. I got his tee. Thanks.
Tuck time!!! The little sneak! lol Everything looks beautiful!!! So inspiring! :)There's nothing like fresh, organic food from your own garden! :) Gotta love it!
Oh wow your peaches looks delicious , that’s my husbands favorite fruit….you guys have an amazing fruits and vegetables …I wish I have a large backyard so we can plant a lot also..Thank you for sharing your video..God bless you guys!
Time to buy massive pottery kimchi pots and use all of those extarneous large cabbage, kale etc leafy vegs and root vegs - and pickle/brine them in the ground. No waste - all used. Lactofermented pickled vegs are an excellent probiotic veg food.
James and tuck you both are so inspiring, encouraging also, I have a fairly good size area to grow in. I hope to someday get to where you're at. I need to start with more fruit trees I have the garden area set pretty much, but as far as fruit i only have razzberries! Those are coming in strong now so tasty, melt in your mouth. I watch your videos all of them because you speak with such care, and encouragement. That gives me hope for a food forest one day. Baily is my new garden dog she loves her job. here is for you Tuck 💙💙❤❤❤❤💛💚💙💯

I am trying it this year on my zucchini and cucumber plants as we get SO many squash vine borers and tomato beetles and I'm just tired of losing all my plants/not getting a good harvest. Love to Tuck!!!
Gnome @10:42, those are some beauty of a cabbage. I've lived in Jersey all my life (my Uncle owns a huge blueberry farm) and I've never seen that color berry.
Your garden is a dream for me, and Tuck don't get me started. Tuck is a cutie! :D Nice to know the wing-man let's you know what is good to grow and what not to grow :P
Grab the New Summer Merch!
jamesprigioni.com/products/summer-grow-shirt-2023
You need a machete for those cabbage. Your enthusiasm is so contagious and the produce absolutely flawless and gorgeous.
Do you have a Canadian supplier for the merchandise?
You should wear a tank top next time.
All of the seeds that I ordered online are NOT what I ordered. I'm so sad

My Pink Lemonade blueberry died 😔
Agreed! Instead of obsessing over mowing grass and blowing leaves James is doing something productive and functional. Not to mention "Amazing"
This is so encouraging. Look how much a suburban back yard can yield.
It is suburban, but I believe he has .9ish acres so it is by no means small. Very impressive how he fits so much into that space still.

Tuck's face when he was eating that yellow carrot was priceless. ❤ Another wonderful, informative video. Thank you! 🤗
I just keep being absolutely amazed by your gardens each and every video. I was going to try blueberries in containers next year
Not sure what zone you're in, but do note that blueberries are trickier with their need for very acidic soil and consistent moisture

Cauliflower amazes me. It grows such a large, heavy flower head on what I feel is too small a stalk.
I can't understand how he has peaches already! How is his garden so mature at the beginning of July?
Early ripening varieties 😁🐕❤️
Amazing crops fantastic work and them peaches look fantastic and so juciy
❤❤❤❤❤❤ for Tuck and the amazing harvest!!
Love your videos, thank you for sharing and motivation. 😊
Love these harvest videos! And love Tuck❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When you harvest your huge cauliflower plants, and peel back those outer leaves..... do you give those outer leaves to your chickens to eat?
These harvests are so inspiring and bountiful! Loving these and Tucker! 😍🍅💕
James, I'm a new subscriber and I LOVE you and your enthusiasm in the garden! Special hugs to sweet little Tuck:):):):)
