I shared your videos with my whole contacts list so they can take their James and tuck vitamins every day❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ wonderful people still exist!
My cucumbers have went crazy this year I have made 64 jars of pickles gave some away and enjoyed some. My akra is coming on nice also. I have lots of green tomatoes on. I am going to trade some jars of pickles for a tractor scoop of rabbit manure from a local rabbit farmer. I made some investments this year also...planted auspicious thornless blackberries and 2 grape vines along with few fruit trees
My pup I've had for 14 years recently passed away, I've been watching your videos for a few months and always love seeing tuck in the videos. Now I love them even more, my Layla loved carrots herself.
I just started my garden 4 weeks ago. I used my grandkids half damage trampoline and turned it into a green house. I found James and you have become my new best friend. You make gardening much fun, not to mention Tucker the dog. I’m not a dog lover but I love this one. I like the way you make the dog a human partner. Love you man God bless.
I can certainly google this, but thought I'd ask here: Will those baby cabbages that were growing on the large cabbage heads grow into big cabbages if you let them? A Tuck and James Food Forest Harvest always puts a smile on my face. I love to see it! 😀 Seriously, your enthusiasm is infectious. We started our garden this year (very late in the season) and have made a TON of mistakes. We've harvested exactly 2 squash, lol! With help from your videos, we're going to do things better moving forward and aren't losing hope that we can create an admirable backyard garden with rich soil. Blessings to you, Tuck, and everyone in this Gardening Channel community.
Regarding the baby cabbages growing to full size... probably not. I had a cabbage sitting on the shelf for too long and it started growing baby cabbages by the core. I waited to see what would happen. Those baby cabbages started to flower and turn to seed. Pretty neat to see.
Hello "The Gardening Channel With James Prigioni"! Thank you for showing us such a wonderful video! I feel so happy! I'm looking forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
I live in Southeastern Kentucky and my garden is absolutely thriving this season. So far, every month of spring and summer, have been cooler and less humid then usual. We've also had pretty regular good rain events, not once have we gone more then 3 or 4 days without a good rain. Because of this, everything we grow has blown up with plants and fruits as big as we've ever grown and with very good yields. We're growing sweet corn called Ambrosia. We've got 8 different tomato types growing, 4 of which are heirlooms like a yellow named Kellogg's Breakfast. We're also doing squash, zucchini, carrots, cabbage, lettuce, two different kinds of sweet potatoes, new potatoes, green beans, peas, brussel sprouts, long day onions, watermelon and a cantaloupe melon. We are doing something similar to Back to Eden. We plowed the first time before last year's gardening season to get the soil loose. Then at the end of last season we grew a cover crop with a huge root system that, after eliminating the cover crop, all the roots airate and loosen the soil and as those roots rot and decompose, all those root pathways are now empty. We also turned a bunch of worms loose, which also help with airation and making the soil rich. After we plowed, we had a bunch of composted manure trucked in and we spread it all over and then took the plow over everything one last time to work it in. Now our soil this year is darker and richer then it's ever been and will only get better each year. Every October I'm bagging up the fall leaves from the trees in the woods that border my whole property and keeping them as my mulch that covers the garden. From this point on my soil will never be exposed to the sun and all those UV rays ever again. On top of sun protection, the leaves also keep the soil insulated and keep it moist in-between rain events and the leaves decompose and turn into food for the worms and micro organisms. Me and my wife have been reading and watching stuff about the JDom methods of gardening and I've been experimenting in making all my own fertilizers out of natural stuff and putting an end to our dependence on all these companies like Miraclegrow and all their poisonous chemicals.
Thank you for incarnating the example of what's possible and for sharing the vision. May you, your family and your amazing garden be blessed and protected every season 🙌♥️🙏
Have you thought about keeping a kitchen scale in a Tupperware container out in the food forest to weigh your cabbages and other fresh food while making your videos? I love all your videos!! My backyard garden gets bigger every year as well!! Thanks for everything you do James and Tuck!!
You are very blessed with all your food you are harvesting! Do you kake pickles out of your cukes? How do you cook your cabbage? I just cant believe your garden. Awesome and congrats to you. ❤❤❤to tuck.
Tip for getting soil and mulch cheap....look for ripped or open bags when you shop. A lot places will sell them for half price! And if you buy later in the season you might even get a clearance price on top of that! Picked up 2 $12 bags of garden soil for $2.50 each today!
Watching you and Tuck working and harvesting in the garden is such a treat. It's fun to watch Tuck as he harvests his own produce. How is Tuck doing? I know he was having some health issues a while ago. I was disappointed when I went out to my garden and saw that my zucchini plant was keeled over and dead. When I went to bed I had a big beautiful zucchini plant and when I went out the next morning it was all shriveled up dead. It used to be that a zucchini would grow in the middle of a parking lot. They just don't seem to have the vigor that they once had. Great videos with you and Tuck and all the great information.
Have you ever thought about haveing a side channel dedicated to garden produce turned into preserves? Maybe you could also have a place in your garden for every spice to pare with the possible jarred fruits and vegetables?
OH WOW James! Your garden is beautiful! The tomatoes and cucumbers have really grown. Love seeing the progress each time. Thanks for sharing your garden with us. 👍
Love you and Tucker❤. That’s a lot of food and fruit. What do you do with all that food. Every year you have a beautiful harvest. Are y’all getting any of that rain that’s flooding up above you. Prayers for you.
Those Socrates remind me a variety called Diva we grew some years back: thin skinned, smooth, no bitterness. I don't think the Diva produced as heavily as those. I have grown Sungolds since 2003 too, guaranteed sweet ripe tomatoes even if we get a cold summer. ❤❤❤ for Tuck, our Yorkie is a guardian of the garden too, loves his cukes and carrots.
I am a first time Gardner with only 2 raised beds to start off with. I am learning and you give great information! Your garden is amazing and love your sweet boy 🐶❤️
Tuck ❤❤❤ Sun gold are awesome We have volunteer sunflowers all over The birds The wind blessings and beauty on display right Gods children are not for sale 🙏🏻🇺🇸👍🏻✌🏻
Sungold was also my first tomato of the season (also first time growing Sungold). Today also picked my first ever black krim. Baked tomato sandwich was awesome!
Gorgeous pristine vegetables !!! Those cabbages are Awesome ! Magnificent ! Thanks for telling us what varieties that you grow and love. How do you keep so many vegetables fresh after picking as you have an over-abundance it seems with soooo many cucumbers ripening with many varieties as well. You are certainly an expert in your field !! Amazing array of garden goodness !
I sure do love to see it. 😆 If I get a little down with my small garden I just love to look at yours for a bit of encouragement. ❤❤❤❤ for little Tuck. 🥰
MMONSTER harvest, James! Congrats! Southern Ontario had LATE frosts. Didn't plant until 3rd week of May (latest in 37 years!) Thanks to your pruning tips, already harvesting cucumbers, and tomatoes and hot peppers are ripening! Also, my Asparagus stand is still going strong 30 years later! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ to Tuck, King of all he surveys!👑
I'm so jelly James, we live in Hades (aka Texas). We have been in 100+ over degrees weather since June. Hope Tucks is doing good 💕💕💕. I miss my garden buddy, he also love eating cucumbers, strawberries. Had to always keep on eye on him make sure he didn't over indulge. Keep making these great informative videos.
Fantastic video as always....thanks for all that you do to keep them coming! You're definitely my go-to. I enjoyed seeing all the varieties that I now grow in my NJ garden because of your past videos.
🇨🇦 You have made me love gardening, and I don't even really eat vegetables! My garden has become one of my favorite places to be. Thanks for your energy and passion! Keep bringing it. Let's Gooooooo! 😁🤙
NICE!! Great job, James. My garden is about 3-4 weeks behind yours, I am zone 4A. I would like to recommend a cabbage variety that is AWESOME for cole slaw. It is Gunma, a Japanese variety that is crisp, delicate, and juicy! The best I have ever grown. Fedco sells the seed. Makes great kraut too. Looking forward to future videos!
Thank you for your videos, and as a fellow Yorkie lover/owner (I have 2 - Chrysie and Nolie) - I really enjoy seeing your Gardian of the Garden, Tuck. ❤ I JUST received some Soldacki seeds and can't wait to grow them next year!!! I haven't been able to find the Socrates cucumber seeds, but I'll keep looking. Keep up the great work!!!
You are an absolute inspiration. 😊 Everything in your garden is doing great and looks delicious! 😋 We have a full sun spot where we lost a red twig dogwood, and now I'm considering trying a pink lemonade blueberry in that area. 🤔 Tuck is a trooper, and a great taste tester! ❤❤❤❤
I think you need to invest in a freeze dryer!!! You always have so much to harvest all the time. All your berries and stuff like that. You would have foods forever
There is not a single human on this planet that gets me as hyped for gardening as James. 💯💯
Let’s Gooo!!!! 😁🐕❤️
Omg yea when watch it I yell “let’s go” now show me tuck 😂😂😂
