At the age of 18 years old, I had a 1979 black Camaro Berlinetta. Everybody recognize me at first sight. Not because of me but because of the back bumper's big sticker " I LOVE VAN HALEN". Man, Eddie was a king! Respect Eddie.

Great rendition! I love that the guitarist didn’t try to mimic Eddie completely, he had some slight changes that made it sound great but still kept enough of EVH technique to pay homage.

The sound of summer on the beach in the 80's. I can still hear the boom boxes all turned to the same station playing this at once as we walked the beach and played in the surf. It will always bring back those memories. Going to hear the local band play at night covering these epic tunes in between their own songs. It was a totally different world in the 80's. Great job on this one.
So beautiful and fitting. Eddie will be missed very much. He was one of a kind.

Van Halen was the first band I ever saw live. I was 12 at the time and the music shaped me for life. The reason why I still listen to rock and metal today. RIP Eddie van Halen. The world has lost a great artist!

@@Kenautje They actually spoke fluent dutch. Like most immigrant families they spoke their native language in their home with their parents & with each other. There's plenty of RUclips vids where they're speaking dutch. They (especially Eddie) have an americanized accent, but their dutch is flawless.

This is by far one of the best covers of this song. Eddie has always been an inspiration to me and one of the few famous people i have ever cried for when they passed. I can feel Eddie in this cover. Such a great job dude. Amazing

Believe it or not, i knew van halen through Gran Turismo 4 soundtrack, and it was this exact song.
It was the first song i liked (i was 11) besides Michael Jackson.
