"Or if it's just a flamethrower and a pair of tongs" lmao. Laughing in my cubicle and having to explain myself/this to colleagues.

Would it be possible to know what software have you guys used for the animations? They are really nice and I could use that software sooo much! :)

How did you define the function guide bread and all of the other functions between import bread and transfer TE from the requirements listed at 8.49. While these are the functions of a normal toaster I can also imagine an inferior toaster design that doesnt require these functions (potentially others) to achieve the requirements. When, why, and how did you decide on these functions, im very interested, thanks.

I thought toasters used a simple adjustable time setting to alter the level of cooking. Optical sensor or comparing the thermal level of toast to the set requirement seems like it would be very expensive for such a simple system? - Just a thought. Great video series by the way, many thanks for sharing your knowledge!

Great explanations of systems engineering. Best I have seen anywhere. I am wondering if the system composer toaster files are available. I'd love to look at them in Matlab, but I can't find them in the matlab examples repository.

I can't figure out what a model is? And what a architecture is? Are they the same thing? because architecture looks like modeling and im kinda confused with the terminologies used here. I'm sorry if im asking a dumb question.

The architecture is the way that the model is stuctured. Architecture refers specifically to the "framework" you are using to create the model. If you make a model, you have employed a specific architecture, or way of grouping and relating entities. Hope this helps!

Note that in video 1 in this series you said that "Airframe" was a function. My reaction when watching that was that it was incorrect. This video proves it. The airframe (noun) is the part or component that performs the function "Provide structural support for the vings" or something like that. This mix up between nouns and verbs is infuriatingly common and it is very unfortunate that such an excellent presentation as this makes this kind of error in the very first example.

Furthermore @12:43 you refer to the functions "Manage Electrical Energy", "Convert EE to TE", "Change Control" and "Sense Status" as "components", when @4:21 you used the term "components" to refer to the logical architecture system elements. Sad!
