Overwatch 2 is probably not coming in 2020, so that means there would be a halloween and winter wonderland event before that. But it's your choice if you want to include them or not.
ADAPT Chance dude like ow2 still has a long time till it’s realised it’s not like their almost done with it it was barley announced a year ago it’s probably be realized in late 2021 or something but at least up a upadate the ones for Halloween and Christmas cause it ain’t coming out in 2020

Winter is the best season. Something about trying to stay warm under your blanket while the rest of your bed is freezing cold is great. Also Christmas chimes are so wholesome and light like everything about winter is fucking goated(except for the shrinkedge of 🍆)

I still remember Winter Wonderland 2016. It was such a great time. I miss the first time I played the game.
I hope once OW2 comes out we get around 13 skins like we used to. It really made the events much more exciting.
That reallly brought me back in the past events
all this makes me feel nostalgic, all the speculation and mistery before the realease of sombra, then the uprising event, waiting for the future events NOT knowing what to expect, the feeling, it just felt so cool and like the history was building so good, miss the old days.

My favourite events have always been Halloween Terror & Winter Wonderland, along with opening their associated loot boxes. I hope we get Halloween Terror 2022 as the first event when Overwatch 2 releases, it's a shame loot boxes are going, always liked opening them.

Junkenstein 2016 had the Pumpkin Reaper and no Summoner at all. I miss having to fight the Pumpkin Reaper instead of the Dracula Reaper

Yep, all events are annual and all items for that event will be available when the event starts back up again

I only started recently too and it sucks that there are other skins that will never be released again: Jjonak’s MVP skin, Sinatraa’s MVP skin, Pink Mercy, All-Star skins, etc...

The first 2 times of these events were fun, other then archives cause that's the best event for game mode wise, but the others started to die down, I like them still but I hope overwatch 2 will bring new events like they said they would, I am looking for a Valentine's day event :D

for me best event is "Archives"..i love pve content + skins always are the best ones...after it i love "Winter Wonderland"..so much good memories with it...for the first time i joined OW in WW and i was playing with my husband...we were just chilling on Kings Row's winter map❤

I remember storm rising was so hype, because the year before that it was retribution and we where all thinking this was going to be better because we thought we where going to be playing through the chase scenes but it was cutscene. Once you actually played through it, it was genuinely about 5mins.
You can tell its rushed.
I enjoyed all the winter wonderland events.
I didn’t like last one, I only got orisas puppy emote and the hog skin :( although I only play tank it was good I guess

Bad? Right now it's the best it's ever been. Every character has a solid counter, and all the toxic kids moved over to Fortnite. You should try it again, it's really fun now.

Toxicity is definitely not gone from the competitive scene. Sure your younger audience probably moved on, but I feel like now more than ever I’ve gotten games filled with guys coming into team chat to only say bullshit and then leave team chat.
And when a new event comes I don’t really ever get the feeling of excitement. The second round of events were probably the last time I really ever felt excited.
It's not entirely bad but it definitely lost its glory days, especially with what's happened to blizzard now. Dont know of overwatch 2 will increase interest or not.

You can see how much less effort they put into events after like the third cycle. Events used to come with new maps and game modes every time and then even when events were re used they would get more game modes like the Mei yeti event. Now the trailers are way shorter and just show off the skins because events bring nothing new. Just shows how we have been starved of new things for the last two years.
Hopefully with ow2 we will get new events and more content to the existing ones

It annoys me how once you upload this and a new event comes out in a few weeks, it’s already outdated
Have been disappointed by events in Overwatch for a while now especially when MHW did events. Events in that game were completely unique every year, with new cosmetics and quests. Not only that but the event missions weren't exclusive to just the limited time event. They could be completed several times throughout the year. Events in that game make events in most other games look like shit.
