Thank you so much. I very much want to try this! Great tips. I have returned to embroidery in retirement. But I also want to take up water colour painting . Fun to sea I can do both on one project !! My name is France -Marie and I’m from Isle of Wight uk.
This is wonderful! I've been doing simple embroidery for some time and I just started taking up water coloring. I never would have thought to combine the two. Well done. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Amanda, how would you paint and embroider on dish towel material? What kind of material? And would it need backing? Thank you so very much! YOU ARE AWESOME 😎🥰
Thanks! I think cotton dish towels would work but you would need to use permanent fabric paint and not watercolor. I unfortunately don’t have much experience with any other fabric paint! And I would avoid terry cloth material because that would be really hard to paint onto. I don’t think backing would be necessary!
Perfect blend of two of my favorite hobbies! Cant wait to try this👍💖

Thank you! Glad it gave you some ideas 🤗
😎This was awesome! Fabulous! You are a painter, too🤩I am sharing this with my daughter and granddaughter. Thank you♥️🌹
Thank you! I am learning but it is very fun! :)
I love to paint on fabric and then embroid it but I use specific painting for fabric, therefore, you can do it on shirts and can easily wash later.
This is beautiful,you are professional.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video!!! Thank you for sharing!! ♥️🤩🥰
You’re so welcome! ☺️
Nice video, thanks

Hı. This is great and thank you. How do you fix the watercolor on the fabric ?
I don’t put anything on top of it or fix it in any way. I just treat it like you would paper and avoid getting it wet!
What size needle are you using in this video? I love your work!
Thanks! I think I used a 6; I used 2 or
3 strands for most of the embroidery. :)
Heat will set the watercolor for you.
Neat! ⚾️
Thank you!
