(NO, TM BOOKS AND VIDEO IS NOT SHUTTING DOWN. THEY HAVE NOT MENTIONED OR ANNOUCED CLOSING ANYTIME SOON. ONLY THE STORE MIGHT AFTER CHRISTMAS) As the description says, I attended Tom Mccomas's memorial at the store. As sad as it was in all honestly, at the same time it was the perfect sendoff for Tom. So many people came there, including James Coffey, (who I personally met) to honor Tom, share stories, and it was a beautiful day. Kids were swimming in the pool, and people were talking to each other. James Coffey music was even playing. Trains were running in the store, and people were playing baseball in the field. People were laughing. These were all things that Tom loved, and if Tom was there, he would have loved it.
I felt so bad that I couldn’t pay my respects to Tom and his family. But I did share a tribute to him on his obituary and had a few memorial trees planted for him.
Hopefully, I personally will believe that they will be reopened after Christmas time, just maybe, whenever Charyl McComas or Bob Phillips is under as new management
So sad to hear about Tom McComas dying. I certainly hope the store stays open after the Christmas season. I grew up watching I Love Toy Trains videos and would love to visit the store when I get the chance. You’re lucky you got to meet James Coffey. How’s Jeff doing?
RIP Tom Mccomas. Your work at TM Books & Videos will always be remembered to us model railroad fans and railfans alike.
Even though I wasn’t around when I love toy trains was made, I still grew up with it and cherish it.

Nah, I don’t think so!
