    Amazing how a foreign weapons manufacturer can become such a super power that they buy out the most iconic name in firearms. Looking forward to see what they do with colt.

    P10-S is my carry pistol. Excellent firearm. I also own a P-07 and the PCR. All three feel great in the hand, and are smooth shooters. Thanks for the tour.

    CZ is by far the brand I own most guns from (my daily is an "old School" 75 which I bought in Prague about a year after the fall, still in a sealed wooden box which I believe was intended for police officers and the secret police). Never let me down, I don't do polymer so it continues to terrorize my enemies ;)
    In one of my car safes, I carry some CZ 97 B (I have a few cars). I bought a couple from a small gun shop during the CVCVCV BS. They look stock, I only did a few modifications, and it is an almost perfect .45ACP. Why did CZ discontinue this model, taking into account that it is as good as any .45ACP I know below the $2,500 mark? Mine, with very few mods, cost me around only €850. I know the gun didn't get much marketing, still why not bet more on it? Don't see anything better out there, aside from a handful of "exotics."

      We're big fans of CZ firearms-they're fantastic! The ergonomics are specifically designed for actual shooters. We're not entirely sure why the CZ 97 B was discontinued, possibly because the .45 ACP isn't as popular in Europe. However, we'll reach out to CZ for a clarification 👍🏻

    Thank you, TPC! I just watched another RUclips review of the CZ Tactical Sport Orange TSO 9mm. I was very disappointed to hear that recently there have been significant issues with the Over Travel Screw, causing the trigger not to reset. New gun buyers are having difficulty getting replacement screws (Over Travel Screws) for the gun. I would order the gun, but the comments from RUclips viewers who recently purchased the gun about waiting months for parts, have given me pause to rethink my purchase. I would appreciate your thoughts.

    • @TacticalPerformanceCenter
      @TacticalPerformanceCenter  2 года назад +1

      Our honest opinion is that the over-travel screw is not a big deal. If you set it in the desired place, do not forget to apply Loctite® Threadlocker and forget about it. Honestly, the trigger will be awesome even if you completely remove the screw. That will eliminate any potential problems in the future. You do not want after the hammer is released, the trigger bar to touch the frame anyway.

      So, directly for CZ - By releasing the new CZ 600 series they've created a new family to replace CZ 527 and CZ 557. Because the production of CZ 527 and CZ 557 is quite old technology is used, currently it's inefficient to produce. 600 is a real step forward in terms of technology, mechanism, and used materials. Unfortunately, there is not enough capacity to make 527 anymore.

    Like CZ pistols, but unfortunately not a fan of their striker fired pistol. Have a CZ P-10c and it's a lemon and had to send it to CZ USA for service. Not a fan on the firing pin block on that pistol, there are better designs.

  • @Quality_Guru

    There is no doubt that CZ makes some great pistols, but the majority of their pistols are behind the times. I guess that they never heard of the saying that in business what makes you a success today will make you a failure tomorrow. I don't understand why they don't retrofit all of their hammer fired pistols into optics cut versions. Less we forget the P10-M is a joke. When everyone else is coming out with micro nines with more capacity than CZ you have to look at yourself in the mirror and admit that you have a product that is less than.

    • @TacticalPerformanceCenter
      @TacticalPerformanceCenter  2 года назад

      We personally think (supported by our experience) that P10s and P 09 and P 07 are great service guns. ...and they start providing the optics-ready models. As for their line for practical shooting sports, we believe they are one of the leaders that can not be pushed so easily. We have some info that new things are about to be released soon, so stay tuned! 😎

      Have you shot one? What I have is a CZ-75 Compact PCR ( alloy frame/steel slide), and a 1970 version CZ 75, that one can go cocked and locked like a 1911. A friend with a CV75 SP-01. My experience is that they just don't fail much and are very accurate and easy to shoot, for women also. I like that I can get a hammer fired pistol that is metal. To each their own, I have other manufactures as well but I really like the CZ. And, the old CZ75 from the 70"s looks like it has been through a few wars, came from Israeli military stock. It is smooth and tack targets at 50yds, the old technology works really good in this one. If you have not shot one, find the time to do so, their grips and grip angles are butter. The only gun I do not like are ones that are unreliable, I have 10K rounds through my PCR and it just keeps going. I also have a short reset trigger, springs, and a few other goodies from Cajun Gun Works. That all came later, and I did it all my self, including polishing, but also what is great about CZ, You can do you own work if you want to learn, or can send it in the CGW, of CZ Custom shop. CZ sell full armor manuals for the CZ 75 class guns.

    • @Quality_Guru
      @Quality_Guru Год назад

      @@davidholm980 Yes I have shot the CZ P01 and it shot extremely well. I also own a CZ P10C and a Shadow 2, both outstanding firearms. I’m interested in getting more CZ firearms but I have migrated to using red dots, so I haven’t purchased any more firearms from CZ. CZ pistols are nice but they need to come out with an optics ready slide. They are completely missing a great opportunity to convert their hammer fired pistols to optics ready pistols. Even Sig has updated their old school P226 with an optics ready slide, so has Beretta. CZ is falling behind the Times. I’m in no mood to reward a company with money for being stagnant and not giving consumers what we are asking for.
