Great and thorough review! Could you say something about the fan noise? What is the difference between active and passive fan and does it make a difference to the noise level? Thank you!
Great review as always! I have a 300x and it's not enough to compete with daylight from windows in an interview scenario. Wonder if I should get this or wait for 1200d price
You covered the P60s and now the 600X, and those videos are really great value, especially with the different setups you showcase. Do you plan to look at the COB 60d/x and LS 60d/x as well?
Wonderful job CVP - solid review. My 600x arrived recently and was surprised to see no green / magenta adjustment. Curious why that was not included? We use it alot on our P300C units.
Curious to know if I am right about this, as I am still learning: Having a Sekonic C-800 on hand seems like a necessity for getting the most out of the investment in a strong bi-color light like this.
Thanks for the review :) I would like to ask whether is it a overkill to purchase 600x pro for photography? Are there any other lighting equipment I can purchase for wedding/studio photography? (Budget around 1k-3k SGD , but I don't want to purchase something that I feel its a overkill)
GReat thorough video as usual - does this come with an excellent Aputure bag? Honestly, kit bags are becoming as important to me as the kit - the stuff that comes without a bag always just break sooner in transit cause they';re not in bags made for purpose. Odd request, but would be useful to know.

Why not making the light from the window darker or shooting a different time?
not fair this test...given the camera and lens used ! . :D .. nice review as always !

Can you please explain how you keep the 150 dome steady and not falling?

I just bought the Sekonic C-7000 Couldn't be happier. Not only that but it helps you match your other lights.AMAZING!

It's great. Shame the fans so loud.

Yes. As I look at mine right now
Really nice review as always. How come these lighths are so expensive in Uk? Mine arrived yesterday and I got it under £1000.
How did you managed that out of interest?
Check out our presentation to learn more!
Love this! Could I ask you what camera and lens you are using for the shoot at 5:20?
RED V-RAPTOR & Meike S35 Cine Primes. Jake
@@CVPTV Thank’s for your answer. Awesome b-roll👍
Instead of going Gold or V, just do Ecoflow (or similar) batteries with standard plug...
Yup that’s one solution! Jake
How much of this is Catta?
Amazing!
The 600x is more expensive than the 600d and not as bright. To me it seems to be better using gels if i want warmer light or doing it in the edit.
You lose light when you use gels as well
@@Chuckyfunk504 an x has less output always. The d only with gels. White light is always the brightest.
@@andersistbesser true, good point
