      @@gosekinz Intersesting! Never heard of them and thanks to your comment I looked them up and am intrigued. I see they have a (big-toe) 2 toe sock and also a 5 toe sock. I'm curious about the 2 toe sock. Is that one you tried?

    • @gosekinz
      @gosekinz 2 года назад

      @@jefreywith1f924 I just use the regular 5 toe version - the split toe one I haven't see for racing/ running - but I don't bother looking. I recommend the 5 toe version.

      @@gosekinz Thanks! I like Injinji because of the toe splay but I also like other socks too because of the extra arch support. This toe sock seems to offer that plus a silicone bottom for less slippage. Pricey but if their durable enough, I might have to give them a try.

  • @ChrisC-bk6nd

    Feetures for me every time. Good arch support, seamless, right and left specific, and a range of light, max cushioned and merino. The best thing i can say is i actually don't notice them when running which is perfect.

    Feetures Elite Mini Crew socks have been a game changer for me, not just in running but in everyday use too. Never had a single blister and I can literally wear them all day without any issues, despite me being a heavy sweater.
    Love them so much I replaced all my other socks with them haha

    I’d give a mention for DryMax Cold Weather socks for anyone like me who suffers with very cold feet in winter (I have cold feet most of the year to be honest). These are the best socks I’ve found that are designed for running that are warm and don’t cause me problems. Clearly not for people with sweaty feet!

    It has taken me years to find the right socks..for me socks are just as important as shoes if you want to really enjoy running as the distance gets longer..I have all the ones you have are showing..but I think the real ticket is thin and the thread count ..the only sock I will use for racing is steigan..they will not absorb moisture..moisture is the main reason for blisters..

    Question, what's a recommendation for very thin socks to wear with spikes? I'd go sockless but there's a bit of rubbing that a thin sock would fix, and there isn't much room!

    Feetures. Love them. The top.
    I have one pair of Balega and of CEP, too. Tried OS1st recently. Need a slightly smaller size to fit great.
    One last thing-I hate crazy looking socks/shoes. A reflective strip is good, but ugly, clashing colors and prints stay at the store.

    I have Smartwool and CEP socks. It's about 26-30 Celsius when i go running. CEP is fantastic, but sometimes causes me to get hotspots. Smartwool feels great, even when drenched. They also wick the sweat out pretty fast when i take a short break. I had Nike and Adidas before, but especially the Nikes were not great for me. Felt too plastic/sweaty. Adidas standard running socks felt good, but they wore out pet fast (8 months or so)

    • @MattSwain1
      @MattSwain1 2 года назад

      I feel that toe socks divide the crowd, you either love them or hate them. I’ve tried some (not Injinji it must be said) and don’t get on with them. Trying to get my crooked toes into toe socks is like trying to put proper gloves onto an impatient 4 year old! Don’t get me wrong here, I’m not disagreeing with you, just saying they don’t work for everyone

      I love Injiji socks. It's just a matter of habit. For example, I had problems with the Asics Novablast 3 because they were bothering me in the front at the toes somewhere under the sole. With Injiji, it's solved
