Awesome choice. Italy is fantastic. I recommend you bring a tripod, for those awesome long exposure night shots. I regret not bringing one in my last trip to Rome.
Thanks for sharing your Leica travel kit with us. I use an M6 and M10 with the following lenses: 90mm f/2 Leitz 35mm f/1.4 Zeiss 21mm f/1.4 Leitz My cell phone is my backup camera.
which sony sd card do you have in your q3? i heard the tough card has some issues physical size. apparently it’s a fraction of a millimeter larger in some dimensions making it harder to install in some cameras. or so i’ve heard.
Nice travel kit. Q2 mono and SL2s with 50 lux black chrome is what I took to Europe. Both fit in the Peter McKinnon sling bag with extra 2 batteries as they are interchangeable. I don’t think another travel set up was better suited for my street photography and street portraits needs.
Awesome kit ! You have inspired me to take the Leica on my trip since I was so nervous to lol. As far as leather straps, I love the Clever Supply Co straps with PD anchors. I get the longest length which is like 50" and you shouldn't have a problem at all with your height. Great customer service and amazing quality.
Hey just found your channel. Its too funny I lived in Orlando for 4-5 years. Why bring a 35mm when you could just use the crop mode on the Q3? I know it doesn't have the same DOF but from the reviews its still really good. I have a preorder on a Q3 and hopefully its here next month. Cheers from Canada. Great job.
I would love to hear about your experience with Leica Q3 in a travel setting especially in Europe. I’ve been to several European places, Rome is one of the places where couple of my friends’ stuff got stolen. Even though the brevite bag doesn’t look like a camera bag, the front opening instead of the opening from the bag is the most unsafe way for a camera bag. So please be careful….Rome & Paris for the matter of fact any big tourist spot is known for pickpockets…
I really want to love the Brevite Jumper backpack (and I returned it immediatly after buying one ages ago), but I would never use such a bag to keep my very expensive tech. I know, it does not look like a photography backpack, but I think they should have made the opening on the side facing the back. It is just so insecure to expose it like so. If somebody unzips the outer zip you simply have no idea whatsoever. Also, it's not that comfortable in my opinion (the straps have a tendency to saw your sholders a little), especially when heavy loaded.
I'm excited for you - look forward to hearing about your adventures in Italy with the Leica

Very cool set up. Looking forward to the photos.

I use the Sony M cards for the Q3 and M11
how do you feel about the lack of depth of field to blur out the background on the Q3?
It’s not an issue for me. The Q with the 28mm is meant to be wide and really capture the scene.
Love to see pictures from your trip. Mostly I saw street photo from Q. It would be great to see another aspect of family trip photo from Q3.

What is the advantage of leather strap over peak design straps?
@@abhishekbanerjee3214 just aesthetics mainly
Also no metal scraping against your camera.

Looks like a great kit. Love my Q3 (and formerly the Q2), very lucky to have a Q3 as they are sold out for months in Canada and the US.

Be generous, 3 films one camera, 2 films 2 cameras, evens out. Have fun, Italy is just beautiful and the food…mmmmm paradise!
Nice! it would be awesome to have a beer if you'll came to Milan or Bergamo. Here it's 35 degrees celsius and it will be worst, so be prepared XD
Clever supply Co has options for longer leather straps (pretty sure)
Enjoy the trip, happy shooting.
I love Nikon❤️
Leica all the way ❤️
